TL:DR: It's Remnant.
Disclaimer: I played on Veteran difficulty.

Story is alright but most definitely rushed and doesn't do much to make me feel anything about any of the characters.
Gameplay is still fun, hasn't change much. Still the main selling point of the game.
Archtypes are more fleshed out and pretty interesting. I hoped to find more Engrams throughout my first playthrough to see how I can make my build, but only managed to find one. This is fine though, Remnant is made to be replayed to find new weapons/rings/amulets/engrams. I like Archtype skills and perks. Definitely a highlight of Remnant 2.
Bosses/Events are fine. Some are better than others of course, typical "survive enemies in a room" is not usually interesting. Especially hated the one where you have to partake in the feast and cannot heal normally. You can only heal by eating the food on the table (slow and you stand still) or eat the innocent humanoids (quick). Interesting mechanic for sure, but the fact that it was just a bunch of mobs coming at you in the room made it annoying. . I enjoyed the Cube fight and the final boss. Felt difficult, but rewarding.
Weapons and Mods are cool. I wished that I got more weapons than I did mods, because weapons tend to be more interesting. Level up materials are pretty scarce, though, so you really cannot try a bunch of weapons without becoming prone to running out of material. This is ok, you just need to play more and use adventure mode.
Areas were good. Loved Losomn. Super cool atmosphere (Bloodborne + Dark Souls). Also kinda scary that damn jumpscare from the beast enemy N'Erud was pretty cool too. Definitely an interesting atmosphere here.
Optimization is pretty poor. Not unplayable, but not preferable. Some areas like N'Erud was a lot worse than others.

If you liked Remnant 1, you will like Remnant 2.
