Honestly, had a good time, it's a fun game to play with a group, I'd say I'd at least like to see the ai monster be more proactive, it wasn't pressuring anything the first run, saw it once during the second. The jumpscares are solid for the first time, but during the our runs it felt more like wandering a haunted forest with no predator. That's all, overall had a great time, a new every now and again game for me and my group.

Good on them, all my performance problems, well most are now fixed, the game is playable for me, and not only that. I'm having a blast. I can fully change my review to positive now that' it's playable.


Why won't they fix their crashes and optimization?
I have had the same problem for all 18 hours of attempting to play, I've seen threads dating back to mid December with the same problems. Why do I have to manually limit the game with my cpu so it doesn't ♥♥♥♥ it up, so it doesn't overtax and freeze, why does it crash on start up without any report.
I CANNOT recommend this game until they fix it's constant crashing, I've tried with my 4090 with the 7900xtx, i tried dx11 12 and vulcan, multithread, the poe uncrasher, BES, adjusting settings, verifying files, uninstalling and reinstalling.

Nothing at all works, I just don't understand how issues from a different season and 4 months ago can still be a problem. Until they fix the performance to be playable, it stays negative.
