Sank in more than 40 hours at the time of this review and about to enter Massacre Mode (after Nightmare), And am enjoying it! Have been playing the Dungeon Defenders series for about 10 years now, since the original DD1
Followed the series to DDE and now, back to the original! It's still really enjoyable, and I can't wait for more of the older maps like Aquanos to get their HD remake in DDA, cheers to the team behind DD!

*EDIT* After playing up to massacre The Keep, I can see why this game is losing its players. Multiplayer balancing is horrendous, there is no incentive to play in a group when all the mobs and boss hp x2. What you can clear solo you cannot do in a group...

That feeling as a kid when you first started Half Life.. Or Bioshock..

Loving the alternate routes they provide you with if you love exploring. Something I loved about Dishonored being made into a Sci Fi thriller just makes it feel right

So are you looking for a multiplayer Skyrim with Heroes of Might and Magic turn based-combat style?
You've come to the right store page!

Love killing everyone on sight? (Results in an attitude rate drop if you do..)
Love stealing anything on sight?
Love lock-picking? PIck-pockting?
Love talking to animals? (YES THE ANIMALS ARE VOICED TOO!)

This is just the game for you!

Just dun kill the NPC who sells your upgrades...

Early Access Review
I have been a huge fan of Dungeon Defenders series its first installment so what is coming is totally of a biased opinion (You have been warned!)

Being someone who has played DD1, DDE and DD2, Trendy keeps making it better.
Sure there are development mistakes (which developer gets it right the first time?), but its more important to know they are actively looking for feedback on their game

As someone who has followed every Dungeon Defender game, DD2 was honestly a refreshing experience. With new concepts (combination of elements, equipment passives etc.) and that revamped Title Screen BGM (its always played on every last level of DD1 map), nostalgia seeps in deep to a whole new level

Being a game still on Alpha phase, any player needs to be tolerant to its bugs (annoying mana disappearing when 2 players open the chest tog arghhh) and must bear in mind classes are still being balanced as the game introduces more and more interesting passives to diversify Tower Builds (love that Serenity Aura explosion!)

As a personal request, I would love it if Trendy brings back classic DD1 maps like Akatiti Jungle, Aquanos, Sky City and The King's Game with a twist of DD2 style

Definitely loving this game!

I used to have a thumbs up and a good recommendation for this game as the patches keep coming in, fixing issues and all. But sorry Trendy, you just destroyed your own game and its player base with Patch 3.4

1. Nerfed the hard work of people progressing deep into Insane content once
2. Nerfed the hard work of people progressing deep into Insane content AGAIN (After declaring to players that Patch 3.3 addressed all nerf issues, Trendy went ahead to nerf AGAIN in Patch 3.4 without an official announcement)
3. Nerfed the drops of Insane content itself. (Particularly Akatiti Insane, and this is not in the patch notes)

Very very bad job from you both at Nom Nom Games and Trendy, honestly disappointed with the unannounced nerfs and Trendy not being transparent with your players.
