Bottom line: I loved it.
I think the >observer_ is more an "interactive novel" than a regular game. It has the classic cyberpunk atmosphere and appearance, and the story is heavily based on the classic cyberpunk books (salute, Mr. Gibson). Being a great fan of these, I've enjoyed this game a lot.
Basically it is a one-time game (not something re-playable) and I have completed it in 8 hours. So maybe not worth the full price, but I totally recommend to buy this game on a sale and enjoy your bad trip to the dark cyberpunk future.

To put it mildly , odd job category C made from famous franchise.
Bottom line: No match to Human revolution and even to the Invisible War.

Pros:
+ Graphics is acceptable for play. Maybe even great for tablets , however on the PC it looks a little bit poor.
+ Style, and even many models copied from Human Revolution.
+ Gameplay is in principle no different from Human Revolution - quite normal RPG / FPS.

Cons:
- Bugged. For example the sound disappears ( can be fixed by disabling surround sound); all menus need to be clicked twice , and so on .
- Small levels, very similar to the Invisible War.
- Equipment UI in general is made horrible.
- Characters animation is generally very poor
- The keyboard is not reconfigurable.
