Well worth buying even at full price. Even without the DLC, the game feels like a complete experience. Though the DLC still expands on the game significantly.

To anyone looking to buy this game, the DLCs are amazing, especially Oddesy. Though i would still recommend doing a vanilla playthrough before looking at the DLCs or mods, as the base game is already quite extensive, and there is a lot to learn in that alone.

The UI can be a little unintuative in places, though it's mainly only an issue when you're playing the game for the first time, as you quickly learn where everything is.

The trailers looked cool so i got it.
Lost interest extremely quickly as the severe amount of jank and lack of polish was painful.

All the new content is pay-walled behind micro-transactions :(

Better with mates, been playing this game almost daily

An absolute must have for VR. Just finished my first play-through and I reckon I enjoyed it more than HLA.
The humour is on-point, good gun play, minimal puzzles, and great story.
The different environments and scenery is also a nice touch, with some very nice graphics for each.

TL;DR. If you get this 80% off, and have friends to play it with, it's worth it. At full price it is not. Game has bugs, micro transactions, and loot boxes. And an uninspiring and at times incoherent story. In general, I enjoyed this game. However, that comes with a few caveats. Firstly, I got this when it was 80% off. There is no chance that this game would be even nearly worth it at its full price of $75 AUD.For the base price of $75, you’re not even given everything, in true Ubisoft fashion there is still loot boxes and micro transactions. Also requires the Ubisoft game launcher (which can be quite annoying).Also, this is one of those games that requires mates to play with. In single player the AI companions are annoying at best and a big hinderance at worst. Fortunately, you can disable them in the settings menu, but be prepared for a difficulty spike over playing co-op.The story is also uninspiring and bland. If you want something story rich, maybe look somewhere else. On top of that some of the character's voice acting in a few places could use some, work. Though for most characters the voice acting is pretty good. But the excessive use of 'tango' does annoy me. I get the use of it, being an elite recon team, but hearing it a hundred times in a single encounter, it's a bit over done.On top of micro-transactions and loot box mechanics, even after the age of this game, bugs are still everywhere. Gotta love falling through the map after exiting a helicopter and dying, getting spotted through vehicles, or failing a stealth mission because the rebels decided to start a faction warfare. But probably the most annoying is how inconsistent inviting people to your lobby is. My mate and I typically spend 15 min restarting the game trying to get the invite to work. A constant loop of 'in menus (unavailable)', and other features that are just broken. E.g., the prompt asking if you want to rejoin a game after crashing or quitting is broken, and always results in a message saying Ubisoft services are down, along with a couple other game joining features.Also falls into the common go stealth or go loud games where if your going stealth, and the enemy is alerted (e.g., finds dead body), they can magically know where you are. Nothing is more annoying than being up on a massive hill sniping, someone finds a dead body, and then a few min later a patrol is just magically behind you. While this isn't game breaking, it is very annoying and is something you should be aware of.Also, toward the end of the game upgrading can get a bit grindy and tedious, constantly running around trying to get enough resources to unlock the next tier of a single skill. And of course you can also use micro transactions to skip the grind, thanks Ubisoft.Though overall I did enjoy the game, I still don't recommend it at it's full listed price.

Best dam mod I've ever played.
I highly recommend playing this. If you haven't played the first one, don't worry, this is great on it's own.
The campaign and story line is arguably better than the original half-life, and it amazes me that this is free.
It won the mod of the year award, and for a good reason! I believe that it is worth buying Half-Life 2 just to be able to play this mod.
Took me about 8 hours comfortably to finish this mod, though you could do it in 6 if you picked up the pace.

Pros:
> Visually amazing, far greater than the original half-life games.
> Great story line, feels more solid and conclusive than the original half-life
> Great combat. You cannot just charge head through as a tank like the original game, and you have to be a bit more methodic.
> Good voice acting. I don't have many complaints in this department. And voice acting is where most these types of mods fall flat.

Cons:
> Sometimes you can get a little lost wondering where your supposed to go next.

It's also great to see how this mod expands upon vehicles, and especially vehicle combat. The same can be said for how this mod expands on Zen and it's ecosystem.
