Assault Fluffy creatures, and force them to do menial tasks and chores for you

Impart your will upon the world, consume its resources, and build your empire of sand

Send your most trusted disciples to crush your enemies and see them driven before you

This is the raw human experience made manifest

The software simply works, and when you dial it in it works well. You'll need to do some experimenting in the settings, don't expect it to just go out of the box, and adjusting settings can be a little on the finicky side when your doing it on the fly taking your headset on and off, sure;

But take those 10 minutes out of your day and be rewarded with the most economical option to run-in-place(or shuffle) and achieve a degree of VR locomotion and calorie burning during your gameplay. Pair this with skyrimVR or any of a number of titles and you'll be quite pleased.

Unique Action Multiplayer, Nothing else really like it with the amount of characters with special abilities and the sheer variety of gunplay and melee weapons to try.

The best building game out there for people who want to dive way too deeply into complex systems. I've rebuilt actual engines and had an easier time than I have interconnecting some of the systems in from the depths, but that's not because it's overly hard; It's just incredibly deep. Everything you do matters, from sloping and stacking your armor correctly to your internal layout and setup of ammunition, turrets, anti-missile systems, etc.

To top it all off there is actual meaning to it in the form of the campaign and multiplayer. In the campaign you can go against relatively fair designs from a variety of interesting themed factions, and see how well your creations do, or you can turn the "design difficulty" up to max and face off against, while still appropriately themed for their faction, some of the deadliest and most clever designs out there built by other players. There is traditional difficulty sliders, but this facet is more interesting, as you are deciding how much you want to test your knowledge of good design practice.

Excellent MMO With plenty of lore to digest for elder scrolls fans. You could experience this game solo and still have a great time, worthy of being a mainline sequel.

ARK is without a doubt the most feature complete dinosaur game out there, even considering it's early access status.

A large selection of dinosaurs and prehistoric mammals to tame is the key feature of the game, and what sets it apart from many other sandbox survival games. But it doesn't skimp in the usual departments, the building system is very expansive at this time, and while the building on an advanced level can be a little fiddly, It allows a large degree of freedom in how you design your bases and outposts.

If your looking into this game for PVE purposes, then there is hundreds of hours of content involved in getting the perfect base setup, hatching and raising quality dinosaurs, and conquering the harder challenges of the game, including large boss fights, caves with difficult terrain and enemies, and the ever present threats of the weather and alpha dinosaurs.

If your looking into it for PvP, That is where ark truly shines in my opinion. The mix of dinosaurs combined with technology leads to a very unique style of pvp, similiar to rust but with far more options at ones disposal.

There are some balance issues, you need a pretty good computer to run it at any sort of decent quality, and there is still a lot of content still in the works for the game, and there is 1 dlc out already even though it has not yet released. Plenty of reviews touch on that subject.

But beyond it's teething issues as ARK reaches that point in early access where it starts preparing for a release, it is a very large and impressive game, boasting huge landcapes and a lot of options for gameplay, you'd be hard pressed to find someone that couldn't find an enjoyable activity to take part in with all the myriad things there is to do in ARK.

And if you ever find the game is becoming too much of a grind, hosting your own server or searching for one of the thousands already being hosted will allow you to find a server to play on that has just the right amount of tweaked values and mods for you.

Vermintide is solid and well worth the price. Left 4 dead + medieval combat in the warhammer universe. It has a unique loadout system and loot that will keep you interested in progression and continually playing. 13 maps at release so you will not get bored any time soon.

An excellent fighting system, an engaging artstyle, intense Player versus player- all the things everyone has praised this title for are accurate. If you come for gameplay, you will not regret this purchase.

As for it's story, an experience you should not pass up if you enjoy immersing yourself in a world Removed from many of the things one expects from adventure games. You are not explicitly told the story of this dying world. The wanderers you come across have there own agenda and there own half-truths that often conflict with one another. It's up to you to decipher what the right choice is and make your journey through the darkness. and at the end of that journey, you'll probably understand why the denizens of this madness treated you so- you'll be one of them.

-The widespread knowledge that this game suffers from a subpar PC port are correct as it pertains to resolution options and controls- But a simple 5 minute install of DSFix will Correct these. It is no longer an issue as of this time. This is not a buggy game, merely lacking in standardized options without downloading the essentially unofficial patch, as it might as well be called. When utilized, there are no real port issues. The netcode is competent though GFWL can take some finagling to get summons worked out at times and is probably the biggest issue, if you are looking for realistic feedback.

-I praise the way the game does not spell everything out, but there are a few mechanics that are not intuitively explained at times- The game does adequately teach you the basics, but you will want to consult the wiki at points.

Highly recommended, in short.

A unique turn based strategy offering, and the multiplayer component of the banner saga. the combat system is excellent and well worth trying if you are a fan of deep yet simple to learn complexity. A refreshing change from the usual DnD style hitpoints and damage systems so often employed, your strength is both your offense and your health in the banner saga. A healthy amount of planning and positioning is required if you wish to be the victor in battles. Overall a well thought out title that costs you no more than your time to check out. If you are interested in the single player game, do yourself a favor and check out factions .

An interesting and oft-overlooked gem, It offers a unique take on total war-style gameplay, both in the campaign and in the battles. The introduction of hero units and fantasy creatures is a welcome one, particularly if you are a fan of arthurian legend.
