Early Access Review
This is easily the best arpg on the market right now. Why it took this long for anyone to realise that combat in an arpg can be mechanic heavy and fun (Souls-Like), instead of a 1 button spam game (in rare cases some arpgs have combo abilities but no enemy mechanics). The wasd movement is well done which allows for twin-stick shooting mechanics which not only feels great, but made me switch permanently from click to move to wasd, regardless of the class I'm playing (this should also feel great with controller although I have yet to try). The new loot is miles ahead of poe 1, where finding currency during early game can make garbage loot quickly viable (I do feel they need to increase currency drops just a little, as being a mule for magic and rare items to disenchant can be a bit of a chore, end game loot also seems to need a buff).

There's too much to go over so below is a summary

Pros:
- Graphics are amazing
- Controls are well done (game also allows for multiple control styles, wasd or click to move)
- Loot & Crafting
- Combat & Enemy Mechanics
- Build Variety: Passive skill tree, the new gem system as there are no more gem sockets on gear & runes
- Patches are already rolling in quickly and addressing player feedback directly

Cons:
- Some stability issues (rare crashes for me but for others like one of my friends, the game was unplayable for several days until we figured out a bios update fixed the issue for him)
- The lack of free aim for line and cone attacks causes a huge amount of frustration in some cases regardless if 'always attack without moving' is selected or not.
- Haven't been able to get my HE keyboard to have the controller emulation function work for movement (This is a very minor gripe as few games actually support this anyway)

Conclusion:
This is a surprisingly polished game for an early access title and is refreshing take on the arpg genre. I only hope that the developers stick to their vision for the game and don't end up changing it into what some very vocal players are complaining about the game essentially not being poe 1 2.0. This likely stems from these players wanting the faster play style of poe 1, have a lack of knowledge about how a lot of the new/changed game mechanics work, and I'll also throw in fact that it's also probably a skill issue :)
