If you're a fan of superheroes and/or XCOM, this game is for you. The gameplay works similarly to Chimera Squad with an initiative system which can add fun challenges to work around. I enjoyed the story very much but I feel that the history of the world needs to be explored more. Meeting up with the old heroes and their traumas lacks impact because we only know about it in vague terms.

The one critique I do have is I wish there was an option to undo the last action on a hero's turn or reload the previous turn. Too many times in stealth missions and a few other challenging ones one extra step or an enemy didn't behave like you thought leads to a lot of restarting or constantly quicksaving every round.

Overall, very enjoyable and worth every penny.

I bought the game wanting a game similar to CoD Zombies. The game looks and gives some of that feel but dying is such a set back. No way to revive teammates without spending massive amounts of coins, too many enemies that are HP sponges, obtuse and cryptic objectives, bad lighting. To top it off, that was playing on Easy Mode that they just released. Before that we were lucky to get even a fragment of an objective done.

Do it.

Better than I expected, controls are a bit touchy but if you enjoy XCOM and third person shooters then I recommend this game.
