haven't played any games that build tension and drive anxiety like this one in a long time. really happy with what i'm seeing right now and i'm curious to see how the devs progress the game.

Palworld follows the same trends as pretty much every other open world survival craft on the market. Long and tedious grinds, boring combat and gameplay loop, floaty movement, etc. The list goes on. The game is complete jank and I fail to understand the hype backing it. Don’t get me wrong, a dunk on Nintendo is always welcome. There are also some fun things to do in the game, i.e. enslaving monsters and forcing them to obey your command. Playing co-op with friends may be capable of improving the overall experience, though that’s not a trait that’s unique to this game, and it certainly doesn’t fix any of the glaring flaws that are undeniably there. With epic memes aside, Palworld itself is the very definition of slop and I don’t trust the developers to fix it in the upcoming future.

Fun game to hop into after a long day of work. Gameplay feels polished and is fun enough to keep my attention. Different mobile suits offer sufficient variety in gameplay that there's something for all flavors of gamers.

Don’t let the Early Access tag fool you. This game is less janky than some recently released AAA games. It does have a few rough edges here and there, but nothing major. Its lacking more in terms of map and equipment variety than in polish, but this won’t be a concern down the road. Also, considering that this is a tactical shooter, it manages to have straightforward controls and the gameplay feels very refined. If you’re looking for a decent SWAT styled game, then this is the one.
