It's free and you can do a lot of creative stuff on it. Stop telling yourself you'll do something creative and just do it. I reiterate, it's free.

This is a long overdue recommendation. But Ace Combat returns triumphantly, with its unhinged and awesome arcade flight combat where you single-handedly turn the tide of the war by simply not caring about physics and loading well over a hundred missiles on expensive fighter jets. I will give you fair warning, a controller is needed as mouse and keyboard doesn't control as well.

Giant rail cannons, kilometer wingspan drone carriers, trench and tunnel runs and pilots who also simply do not care about physics are what awaits you along with ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ SPECTACULAR music throughout the campaign that I could ramble on for way too long if I had the necessary booksmarts to give it proper justice.

Story is a little disjointed, which is a shame since the game had to go through a few rewrites and might not make much sense if you're not playing close enough attention. You shouldn't be missing much narrative-wise if you haven't played any of the previous titles aside from callbacks and plot details.

Play it, please I beg of you.

In other news I've been coping and seething as more time has gone on without even an official reveal for Ac8 yet, but I'll live! I hope.

For Managed Democracy!

We managed to save the game from Sony's meddling by review-bombing it, so now I'm reversing that to help raise up the reviews.

Works very well with little real issues, would recommend opening first before starting up a VR game if you're intending on doing stuff like Discord screen sharing however.

Also holy hell how have I spent over 1200 hours with this headset on lmao

Disclaimer, I've gone from playing Realistic Ground Battles for about 250 hours before switching to arcade air, my opinions and experiences might not be equivalent to the average player but I still feel they're valid since all these choices made affect everyone. I will probably be drowned out by everyone else taking part in review bombing, but I still feel my review is absolutely warrented to make.

So, I guess Gaijin finally broke us.

The bones of this game are genuinely fantastic, but the developers have over the years shown they have no real care for the community and surpassed EA levels of greed.

What finally broke the camel's back was a now reversed update raising many of the repair costs of vehicles to the point where the only reliable way to not go into the red of the game's non-premium currency, Silver Lions, was to purchase a premium subscription for a 100% rewards booster and purchasing premium vehicles that cost upwards of $70 as they become the only mid to high ranked vehicles that don't have unsustainable repair costs that basically guarantee most free-to-play players are playing at a net loss of SL.

The developers claim that the purpose of the grind is to make the process of earning higher tech vehicles more rewarding while they proceed to hamper the viability of doing so in many, many ways by adding or changing mechanics and forcing poorly justified means of using up your SL to create too massive of a time sink.

Gaijin has clearly shown intent to make the process more and more difficult to achieve for free to play players by forcing , and ever since the community has finally gotten in an uproar over the years of poor management, Gaijin has only doubled down. And that simply just means they deserve the review bombing they're getting.

I don't want to hate this game, but from what little the game has given me from the amount of time I've put into it I just can't really care much about this anymore, I doubt Gaijin will make any meaningful changes because they'll continue to make huge amounts of money selling overpriced premiums to players who just want to skip the grind before they release more, higher ranked vehicles that will ultimately invalidate your AAA game price purchases.

I cannot recommend this game anymore.

Don't think I've ever had a game where I've had so much fun playing actually just become the worst experience imaginable from a single update. Season 2 somehow managed to consistently make every session an insufferable slog of awful matches and matchmaking, I don't know how much is the game and how much is me, but I'm just tired of it. Seriously, what happened between Season 1 and 2?

An extremely accessible VR Sim-lite that is just fantastic to play so long as you're not susceptible to motion sickness. With 3 vanilla aircraft and two extremely affordable DLC aircraft in tandem with custom mission editing you'll have a lot of stuff to do both by yourself and with absurdly chill strangers online.

They also recently added an update allowing custom liveries on aircraft so now you can follow your dreams of all the Ace Combat cosplay you could ever dream of!

Probably one of the best sandbox games out there, for only $10 USD you can easily get hundreds of hours out of this. Buy it.

This is one of those games from my childhood that I remember fondly as the only racing game I've truly ever enjoyed. This game starts you off right with supercars right off the bat instead of starting with your grandma's Honda Civic so races are always incredibly fast paced, and powerplays add a really fun dynamic. If you like racing games I'd recommend giving this game a try!

On first glance, you may think it looks a fair bit like Hearthstone, but upon playing, you'd realize this is a completely new take on Collectable Card games.

Premise:
In most ccg games you see, all it is is two opponents playing cards to directly fight each other, however, in this game you play an opponent as one of currently 5 legends (More to come) and the cards you play are what your chosen legend encounters throughout their adventures over 5 in-game chapters. The objective is to defeat your opponent through either direct or indirect means, but you have to use your cards wisely!

Gameplay:
A game lasts for 5 chapters and each legend plays differently, in each chapter you can place down a maximum of 4 cards and there are two card types; Monster and Ally cards. Monsters are creatures your legend encounters and must fight for benefits to try and get the upper hand against your opponent, these benfits can be weapons, which temporarily boosts your attack or boosts to your base attack, health rewards, money for paying for ally cards, and armor that can be used to protect your health from attacks. But be careful! As many cards have side-effects, one example is the white wolf card, which upon defeating gives you two cards but causes you to recieve 2 damage even if you were unharmed in the fight. This can cause many different gamble situations that can potentially put you on top.

There are some balancing problems and so far there's only 5 legends
