I...I played this game for 13 hours straight.
It's addictive.

It's moderately simple with just enough content to keep you hooked and not overwhelm you, however after a while (My longest Kingdom has been 540 years with 2.5k pop) the various things you previous had to rigorously micro-manage quickly become self-sufficient leaving you to twiddle your thumbs and watch your kingdom thrive (which isn't necessarily a bad thing) and Vikings/Dragons become more a nuisance than a genuine threat. (Perhaps allow rival kingdoms/vikings to build and remain on the island as to have some sort of competition for resource/land?) However, I suspect I'm playing on a small map since I put the Size to random on the generation seed so maybe playing on a large or medium map may take a lot more time, patience and skill to manage and grow.

One thing I dislike but sort of understand the reasoning behind is the job priority list; when you make jobs they're set in a priority list and you have to set how important they are, meaning if you have 186 orchard jobs available, 186 people will all leave any less prioritized jobs to go work on an orchard, which is kind of annoying but creates this layer of strategy where you have to properly set your priorities in order to have an efficient kingdom. I'm kind of torn with this because as I said it does add another layer but a part of me still wants the ability to set the amount of workers per industry instead of just having say 72 librarians when I could have maybe 40/72 librarians and 32/80 fishermen.

That being said, this game is pretty awesome, art style is very simple but pretty (although I'd personally like a little detail added to the villagers since they're just coloured blocks atm) and the strategy involved is simple on the surface but complex in the later years of your kingdom as you try to balance resources and jobs in harmony to create an efficient and effective kingdom.

It's fairly worth the $11 CDN on Steam and frankly, I bought it on sale for $7.99 and I feel I cheated them, it's so good for what a small team accomplished.

Couldn't ask for a better immersive experience.

Boring at times when you're not in firefights (i.e: doing logistic runs, running for 85% of the match from point A to point B, ect..) but there are normally FOBS/Rally Points (mobile spawnpoints) that save you time and teammates are generally entertaining.

Combat is excellent and immersive, at times can feel clunky (mostly close-quarters combat) but is otherwise pretty smooth.

Vehicles feel balanced as well as the infantry kits and their equipment (although I wish American/British LAT had more than just 1 rocket).

Just boring after a while. Not even enough things to do at all.

Revolvers, Cowboys and Whiskey, what more could you ask for? 11/10
