I'd say this game is definitely worth the pick up. Graphics are fantastic, gameplay is fluid (granted, the controls take a little bit to get used to) and the soundtrack is phenomenal. The game is fast paced and the tracks are just gorgeous.

We got PodRacers, we got Mr Arrow, we got them Hydro Thunder boats, we got Speed Racer, all you could ever need.

You can go to a volcano, dive into the ocean, drift the desert, visit Alaska (its pretty cool)

You can also go to Mars and drift through Space and stuff but you need to buy those

and hey, you can always give yourself a siezure playing in VR too, so thats cool (idk how the VR looks/works though)


I'm someone who still tends to play F-Zero GX (Mainly because i still cant unlock the damn Pink Spider but hey, its still a fun game as well) AND WHERE IS THE NEXT ONE NINTENDO HMMMMM??, but then moved over to Fatal Inertia as my kind of filler but that kinda died out too. (its an okay Anti-Grav, but not on PC)

Anyway, this game is a very well done succesor to the Anti-Grav Racing genre, but I wish it had more incentive to keep playing after completion. Only thing really is leaderboards and some of them still have old broken times back when they were bugged. The online is kinda just there, you don't unlock anything from it nor does it have a seperate leveling system. The only thing really left over is to hope you get Skin/Color drops
(Honorable mentions to Blur and Split/Second to how they handled online, but that was on console)


Cool additions would be an revamped online system (but nobody plays anymore anyway), more achievements, and some custom ship options/track builder.


Anyway heres my super informative review that totally has organized Pros and Cons listed and not just me barfing words. If you like racing games its worth a try, just give the controls a chance. Eventually you learn when to strafe with or against your turning and you feel so good when you make those high speed maneuvers

10/10 threw my laptop out the window

I really enjoyed this game. If you enjoy retro styled games i highly recommend Freedom Planet. This game was inspired by Sonic and Megaman, but shouldnt be considered a clone of either of them

+Cinematics are well done
+Unique playstyles between the characters
+Combat is very solid
+Movement is very smooth (GOTTA GO FAST)
+Havent found any bugs so far
+Each boss fight is different {Serpentine has some repeated mechanics} (havent cleared all final dreadnaught so cant say for those stages)
+Good story

-The dialogue is a little poor (Not audio quality)

Collect heads, weapons, gems of 3, more gems, EVEN MORE GEMS.
Good party game to enjoy with others and scream in their faces
Insane mode to go back and scream in your own face
