This game requires a LOT of determination. You get started you get raided you make a play get ♥♥♥♥ by a naked charging you with a rock because of the games ♥♥♥♥♥♥ optimization causing you to lag. Did I mention rusts poor construction? The game has 10 year old software in it and it is not working very well (slow loading times and poor performance). Even known this is a positive review rust is a bad game but it is sure as hell addicting. You will eventually gain up to 1k hours on the game and realizing you have no life anymore then you will start fanning rust skins and skull ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ you bank account. The rust community is 50 50half toxic and half sane. One you get passed all that ♥♥♥♥ you find ways around it and you will be out of that ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and being a god at rust, making plays raiding clans wiping zergs all that good ♥♥♥♥ and at that point you realize the suffering was worth it.

This game is great. But don't let it deceive you, This game is definitely not free to play. I mean technicly, yes it is but you aren't given the most Ideal airframe's. For example, you are given a Russian plane that you can only fly with your keyboard. That can only do ground strike. Then, you are also given a Trainer Aircraft from WWII with no guns. Now I do suggest that when you get this game to get a joystick. it is needed. You could fly with your arrow keys, but trust me you don't want to.
Now When you want to buy this game, and you have a joystick. I suggest that you have atleast $50 to buy yourself somthing that you can learn and utilize to its peak. I personaly suggest that you get the F/A-18C or the F-16C Fighting falcon. They are both great multi-role fighters that are good for however you need them.
If you are scared about spending $50 on a plane, keep in mind you have to learn these planes, and that you dont just go fly them and be done.

After reading this I hope I brought some of this to your attention. Also dont be scared to do some research. R/hoggit or any other DCS Subreddits you can find. normal Google is good too.

My owned DCS modules:
F/A18C, F16C, AV8B, Uh1H Huey,
Su-33, A-10C, and AJS37 Viggen.
