Clunky mechanics, and insufferably complicated. Didn't even finish the tutorial. A solid no thanks, I would rather have my drive space back , thank goodness It was from a humble bundle monthly choice.(almost free)

Is this worth the money? YES, Is it a perfect game? There is no such thing.
Pros:
Beautiful graphics, tons of lore, many quests(more incoming), amazing gameplay.

Cons: Major game breaking bugs like dupes, and the aftermath that has had on the economy.

If you have ever played any MMORPG from launch, and understand how game development works then this game is for you. Ignore the haters and naysayers. It is an MMORPG, not a loot fest battle royale. I have had more fun in this game then any other in recent history. The Development team has made HUGE mistakes, but endeavor to correct them quickly (this doesn't mean instantly, as you need to get real.)

AGS has made good on MOST of the changes players wanted (despite the BS haters claims)

This game is < 3 months from "release" as of this review.
What to expect from ANY MMORPG at release and @ least the subsequent 6 - 12 months ; BUGS, and Stability issues.

What to expect from any MMORPG with PVP elements : CONSTANT CHANGES TO GEAR FOR "BALANCING".
Intense crying on forums/subreddit. (aka. Crybaby pvpers that want things their way and can't adapt to change.)

Personal related info:

I bought 4 copies of this game...3 for my friends n family and they all bailed(tbh i expected as much from two of them as one isn't an MMORPG fan, but had it on the wishlist and has helped me out in the past when i was short on a graphic card sale purchase.) You know who you are.

TLDR; Great game, Worth the money. Just play and expect nothing in game to be permanent, as with all MMORPG's.

Change is inevitable, you would be better of just embracing this concept for a less stressful life.

First things first, If you take your time and enjoy the rpg aspect, find all the shards you can and read them to immerse yourself into the city. Their are a few "bugs" I stumbled across, just mainly missing a scripted action, and getting locked out of an area where you left a body behind that was supposed to be looted to gain access to a further area, something easily fixed if they automatically give you access to the next area instead of requiring you to loot a body that may not be accessible anymore.(in that case i just logged to main menu and then continued and the shutter security door that was blocking me was no longer there. I have had items go "missing" and clothes/gear changed on me, but i mean who hasn't come to after a drunken blackout missing things, and with a new tatoo? This game is incredibly fun, once you give it the time it deserves...don't rush it, just enjoy the night city. I'm running around doing odd jobs and gigs before i go into the point of no return on the main mission. bottom line, it feels a bit like GTAV. If your a fan of cyberpunk, this really is an awesome game with TONS of content.

Diablo 2 meets PoE feel, after getting used to it, It is a pretty awesome experience. DLC Bundles make a huge difference, i.e the Crucible game mode lets you have access to the crafting NPC's with max abilities unlocked, without having to go through the entire campaign multiple times on higher and higher difficulty. You do still need to collect the blueprints and materials for the blacksmith to craft items, however having the inventor transmute ability to change set items to another set item of the same set and/or the random transmute to another set of comparable level is a godsend when attempting to solo collect that elusive item to complete your set to build around.

good survival game for soloists because of the shield system at tier 2 land claim...get yourself up in the tech tree, build a land claim, upgrade it to tier 2, get a bettery and electric generation.... store up 5k power and when you start the shield...it takes 15 minutes to power up...you can be hit in that time to shut it down..called raid blocking...but if you get it up, you cannot be offlined for about 2 days at a time...good for casual players and soloists just get there..and manage the system. has a 30 minute cooldown when taken down, it's a good defense keeps those wimpy losers that only hit offline at bay and gives you a chance to build up even if you have a bit of a real life.
