You'd think ranked matchmaking means getting matched with people of similar rank, turns out that's not the case. The ranked descriptor actually just means that everyone has a rank, and you'll almost exclusively play against those with ranks orders of magnitude greater than yours. The correct descriptor for the matchmaking is nonexistant but I can understand some translation errors in a Japanese game.
