This game is fun and completely free, however it's not for everyone and alot of ppl will cry saying it's pay to win, which it's not. It does however have a steep learning curve but most veterans (those who actually still play, the actual veterans not these kids with 400 hours saying they know how to play yet don't even understand how to make a simple crit build on a bow without using youtube) are willing to teach you due to the fact that there is not much for us to do, so teaching new players is the most content we get once in awhile. In terms of game direction considering where this game was 6 years ago it has had some massive improvements and it's become very new player friendly, and it's progressing in the right direction however it still does require some more "end game content" as level 100 mobs are not exactly hard for experienced players using broken builds.

Fun game, fun concept, sh!test servers to have ever been made and they don't even try to fix them. 10/10 would burn the company down if I had the chance. \o/

This game is a pile of crap to put simply.
when the pro's even says this game is dying that when you know that's something is wrong with this game, but big man Gaben does nothing except adding new sound updates and maps updates instead of actually fixing the issues at hand eg. hitboxes, Vac, unranked 5v5, and so much more...
Although the main issue with the game is the lack of admins or an authority presence within the community for example if we had admins instead of this bs called Vac that doesn't work half the time hackers might actually get banned.
Also, the game on 3rd party websites costs around £5 which is another issue; this makes hackers not even care if they are banned because they can just buy a new game.
With the game devs boasting about making millions on this game you would think that it would be better treated.
to put it simply invest in a different game because you are going to regret it here.
