Not quite up to the brilliant level of the first game on the DS, but it takes everything good about the original and improves on the systems. Doesn't have the same level of gravity and seriousness but still a fun heavy plot driven game.

If you liked TWEWY there's really no reason to skip this. If you haven't played the original, you absolutely should play that first.

I definitely enjoyed this more than Bastion. It's got a very distinct art, music and gameplay style that blends together and all compliments one another and works for the type of story its trying to tell.

There's nothing wrong with Bastion of course, but I did feel that game was more than a bit overhyped. Transistor on the other hand remains subdued and subtle which the whole game fits into.

It's a bit short is really the only downside, but that's to be expected with the price and quality.

It doesn't fall into the same trap as most adventure games, and plays more like an interactive comic book. The writing is very solid, far better than most of Tell Tale's other games, and honestly is the first piece of Fable's content in a long time I've been happy with. Stands well along with the first eleven Graphic Novels and the Peter & Max novel as good parts of the Fables universe.

Extremely beautiful, moving and emotional, an amazing soundtrack, and Grandia's gameplay with much much better overall balance. It's hard to ask for more, beyond perhaps being a little longer, but for the price it's a huge surprise.

Some might be turned off by the writing due to it's forced rhyming scheme, but it worked well enough for me and didn't detract from the overall intent of the game.

A great, simple strategy game with a solid mechanic and something completely unique compared to most. I liked many aspects of this game.

A game that very much merges Tower Defense and the Strategy RPG genre in a very good way. It's a little simplistic in terms of mechanics, but it makes up for it with a very solid difficulty curve without being extremely harsh.

Generally speaking the whole 'werewolves in space' seems a little oversold, when this is literally just a simple mobile game with the same kind of simplified repetitive gameplay you get in most mobile runners.

Wasn't even worth the sale price I paid.

I enjoyed this a lot more than expected. It really is like a very well done super long movie. The gameplay is simplistic, and yet remains with a generally decent challenge curve (though a bit on the easy side) throughout the game. It reminds me a lot of Super Mario RPG, which boiled down the elements of an RPG and added elements of timing and action to make up for the otherwise simple numbers game.

It was also longer than reviews initially let on.

Generally speaking, it's a relatively strong narrative, well executed myth and not entirely annoying platformer. It remains simple with a slowly building complexity that never really gets too difficult. A few puzzles that took a short while to figure out. But mostly the focus was on continuing along. It's really short due to the checkpoint system, where you rarely have to repeat a series of objectives simply due to its frequent checkpoints. The overall gameplay would best be summed up in style as a 2-D ICO. It's about using both characters to get past objectives. It's easy to swap between, or you can play multiplayer if you have two controllers.

The game is buggy, unfortunately it tends to have occasionally slow frame rates, and you can get stuck in walls. But its never a big problem because again, the checkpoint system means those bugs don't really cost you much time.

The unlockable cultural videos are a very nice touch.

This game, is freaking awesome.

If you want a game that feels like a legitimate contender with Castlevania: Symphony of the Night this is it. Be prepared it's difficulty is on part with Ys: Oath in Felghana and Castlevania: Order of Eclessia and Castlevania Dracula X Chronicles.
