i played the demo for 17 hours and bought the game last night, Yes it's that good.

First of all, i would like to thank valve for allowing us linux players to play games like this through proton !, i don't usually write reviews but here goes. At first i thought that this was a mediocre game no voice acting on characters linear story go there and do that and that would be it, But the more i played it the more i knew i was wrong , the more you progress the mroe you see how the story is actually really good though the only complaint i would have is that you may need a controller to get through a specific phase of the story otherwise i would say this game is a freaking masterpiece.

I'm going to be honest this game starts slow and can be a bit hard but once you spend at least 5 hours on the game it becomes really fun and you would actually have an idea on what you are doing.
Tbh it's really good i recommend it

this game is actually good if you are a League of Legends player like me you will need to get used to it the first time i played it i thought that it was boring and the combat sucked comparred to LoL but it's actually good. Not fast paced like League of Legends but more tactical, Which isn't for everyone. I'm going to play the game even more and edit this review in the future

First of all i would like to thank Steam for allowing us Linux players to play games like these through proton. I'm really amazed by this game, i haven't played the first but i really enjoyed playing this even though i was playing single player most of the time. The game is really simple find items level up and control the portal point And kill the boss so you can use the portal. Even though it's has a simple objective but holy molly the skills the items the combat mechanics it's all amazing i really recommend this game !

Two years ago, i picked up this game on my ps4 and finished it. But after two years i wanted to play it again on my pc, And i don't regret buying it again at all. Some levels are challenging and the hidden things are so worth it when you uncover them. i'm not good at reviewing games, But i really enjoy shovel knight and i reccommend it to you if you are looking for a challenging Platformer :)
