Instead on making a clean FPS focused on gun play and strategy powered by portals, they made...whatever this is. Now there are different factions, passive abilities, and equipment. It's clear with the map design and inclusion of the new class based gameplay mechanics that portals are no longer the main driver of gameplay, which is insane.

Also the game is pretty unoptimized, but I'm guessing that will get worked out over time. My problem is with the core gameplay, which I don't see being fixed without a complete redesign, including either heavily modifying the current maps, or just making new maps all together.
