I didn't wanna make a super in-depth review, I just wanted to recommend this really amazing and fun game. It's just a really fun base building experience with good automation. GUD/10

Well, this game deserved another year in development.

And devs that loved RE3, not devs that wanted to make an RE4 prototype.

Otherwise, this game still is pretty great. I enjoyed it so much that I almost 100%ed it. The combat is fun, the bossfights are pretty good too, and the soundtrack is amazing, way better than in the RE2make. Speaking of which, if you liked the RE2 remake you'll probably like this enough to get it on sale.

♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ this game is amazing. It's almost as amazing as the original fallout, and probably better than wasteland 2.

One scene that summarizes why I love this game so much happens in a random encounter early in the game. Three guys were in an accident near a swap where people say a dangerous parasite lives, eating its prey from the inside and taking their form. You know, like that movie. But the parasite doesn't have perfect memory of what happened, so if you talk to him he'll tell a different story from the other guys. You are tasked with listening to the three men and finding out whose story doesn't match, so the parasite doesn't reach their village.

Choose one. Or kill them all. The parasite won't attack, no amount of save scumming will lead you to the right choice.
Maybe that's just some dumb legend and there is no parasite. You can convince the men of that too, and let them all live.

Either way, you walk out. Thinking whether you made the right choice. You won't see a message saying " congratulations, you killed the right guy" or some confirmation that the tale was just made up. You're just left to wonder "mind controlling parasites don't exist, right?"

The world of ATOM RPG has mutants and video gamey things, but it's also full of rumors. There are giant ants and mutated humans, but not everything a villager says is gospel like in other rpgs. Maybe mind controlling parasites exist, maybe they don't. You're character is looking through all this information and selecting what's useful and what should be discarded, AND SO ARE YOU.

It's a great role playing game, the writing is amazing, and it's aggressively funny. This isn't some lower quality replacement for an old school fallout, it's an worthy successor. If Van Buren was this game I wouldn't be disappointed. It's really that good.

The tutorial is a bit boring though, just skip. Also, you want at least 5 strength if you wanna use guns.

TL:DR Soviet Fallout 2 is the best thing ever buy this now

A really fun game, especially for local co-op.

The racing isn't the best out there, so the devs focused on the combat aspect of the races, and it does work. You can quite easily just focus on killing all the racers no matter the game mode, and you should be constantly killing them to get boost and your health back.

It's not really a spiritual sequel to Road Rash because of this. That game still had a big emphasis on racing and not crashing, while here you can get back into the action easily as long as you keep killing someone.

The game runs butter smooth on most potato pcs out there while not being too ugly, and again, the co-op is fun as ♥♥♥♥. At the very least, you'll have a few very fun couple of days hanging out with your friends, siblings or significant other.

This game is weird and hugely flawed, but if you liked The Witcher 3 or want some great rpg experience, I urge you to play it.

I don't know how the graphics looked in 2007, but nowadays they're often funny. It took me a while to get a hold of combat, but it's pretty much just click left-mouse at the right time and change your stance depending on the enemy. The prologue is just bad, and I guess most people give up on the game right there. But the game slowly picks up on the outskirts of Vizima, and I doubt anyone who has finished chapter 1 will not finish the game.

This game has the same amazing story full of complex moral choices The Witcher series is known for, and just on that it'd be worth experiencing. But the way its quests flow naturally towards each other is unlike anything else I've ever played, not even the following titles. I urge you to grind through the begining and play this amazing game.

PRELUDE

Deus Ex: Human Revolution had plenty of fauts, but it did something amazing - it was a true AAA sequel to a game so unfriendly to mass market as the orginal Deus Ex. And it was both a great game and a big hit.

One of the big draws of the original Deus Ex was its story. Human Revolution ♥♥♥♥♥♥ that up real badly, but after the beggining and before the end of the game the story was quite interesting, despite not being a thought provoking masterpiece like the original (although the dialog was well voiced this time). The second draw of the original was its inumerous possibilities of tackling situations leading to absurdly great stealth enconters, and Human Revolution kept that to a length no one could expect out of a 2011 game. Being a fifth as good as the original Deus Ex in that regard would already make you a good game, and both Human Revolution and Mankind Divided are a solid 5/6 as good as the original.

GAMEPLAY

And Mankind Divided is about as good as Human Revolution in every aspect. Gameplay is amazingly varied, quest structure is absurdly great, the game is an absolte joy to play. The only problem I have with the gameplay is that if you do all sidequest you'll level up too quickly and the game just allows you to have everything. I think they should change it so you can't get certain augs if you already have other, somewhat like the original game, but you can still have fun while being OP. And unlocking new augs is still great and opens your possibilities even more, you feel really good with yourself when you use that brand new unloc to tackle a situation in game. You can even go shooting everyone in lower difficulties, and I hear the gunplay is good, so not being able to stealth is not an excuse to not play this.

STORY

Okay, there is one big way in which this game is worse than HR, the story is complete and utter ♥♥♥♥ througout. They try to make augs into oppressed people, akin to pre-civil rights era blacks in the Souther US. The whole deal about augmentations is that they can privilege the rich, the 180 done here just doesn't work. Despite the events of the last game, augs would never be put in a position of being completely oppresed in 2 years because they're wealthy powerful and educaded people, the kind of people that just wouldn't allow other to put them in such a position no matter how outnumberes they were, so you'd expect anti-aug terrorists who want to purify humanity and fight the power, not augs being treat like second class citizens. And the events make it seem impossible that augs would be thriving 30 years in the future, which is the story these prequels should lead to. My advice, just forget the story, the game can still be good without it and you'll save many braincells.

TECHNICAL STUFF

The base game clocks in at over 30 hours and you even have free extra missions, so it's not really short at all (like some people said when it came out), and the ending fits just right. The graphics are nice and it runs okay, it really shouldn't have gottent so much ♥♥♥♥ when it came out.

CONCLUSION

This would be worth full price as it is, if not a must buy. With a 75% discount, it's a compleate bargain. Just buy it.

Amazing game. The story suffers at many points, but it's overall pretty good. The dialog options are among the best in any game, the argument sequences are the best part of the game, and that's saying a lot. When it comes to gameplay, it has everything that made the original great, and the combat works this time. There are multiple paths, various ways to go about it, augmentations add to your options significantly, creating even more paths for you to take. You will be emarsed in the stealth just like you might in the original. The quests, the city hubs, travelling from place to place, it feels great on the same level as the original (the only difference is that it had double the amount of city hubs).

If you can't take the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ things about a 16 year old game, buy this now and you'll love it. If you can, buy both games.
