A genuinely intriguing and often beautiful game filled with charm and made with passion. It's like nothing I've played before, and although at first glance it'd be easy to write it off as a walking simulator, I'd go a step further and instead call it a "deduce 'em up". The premise is simple, you're tasked with discovering the fates of the crew of the ill-fated Obra Dinn, recently reappeared in port after going missing at sea.

As you explore, learn and clue your way through the ship's decks, you discover a living, breathing world populated by distinct characters and personalities. The brief glimpses into their lives, artistically recreated as 3D snap-shots into the past. They're often surprising, and hint at a mystery that will keep you hooked until its final minutes.

Final note needs to be made to the soundtrack. It romps along at a pace, often supplying tension and urgency to Obra Dinn's dioramas.
