This piece of ♥♥♥♥ has evolved into a festering mass that is not representative of its roots.
It is clear the developers do not have a vision for this game, as every update changes a core mechanic that previously made the the game enjoyable. This is not the same game it was in 2017, and that's a shame, because it could have been a lot more than trash.

It's always prayer day when you own this title.

As a veteran of X3, this game is incomplete and lacks many features that make X games (other than Rebirth) so good.
There is very little mission variety, no good direction, and many mechanics seem half implemented.
Weapon variety is definitely an issue, as well as ship handling and utility.
Hopefully I can change this to a recommendation in the following months.

As a mech-building arena shooter, this game has quite a bit of potential.
Mav is buggy due to the fact that it's basically just a tech demo.

Behind muddled mechanics and stability issues, MAV is a unique game.

In the future, I'm sure the game will improve.

At this state, I'm glad I got it for free.

Give MAV a chance, she's a rough gem among a stale genre.

This cute roguelike with XCOM-esque combat shines above others in the genre. Extremely deep and innovative in the way it weaves together mechanics, this game is an unforgiving and lovely experience.
