Wonderful game that requires little to no skill but the skill ceiling is pretty up there and is a ton of fun with or without friends. Has quite the replayability with the mountain changing each day.

Devs undersold this and it's only been out for a few days.

Tiny bugs at the moment but they're definitely being worked on.

Notably respawning with no visuals. (Edit: Fixed)
Disconnect issues rarely from my experience. (Edit: Apparently Fixed)

Be sure to lower FPS cap or your machine might run a lil hot.

Fantastic experience with an amazing detail to perspective. Very much encouraged imo if you're into this kind of stuff.

Friend gifted this to me and I'm very thankful.

Same dev from "It steals" And "Dead seater" i believe, both great games and this is no exception. Really fun, lots of detail, very scary, and amazing with friends. Love the style and is prime for immense replay-ability with a friendly group. (all my subjective opinion obviously but i hope you all have fun playing this game.)

Edit: I would kill for a cockpit view that maybe varied depending on the core or headpiece you used. I miss it so much. Not that it would really be efficient per se' or make sense with lore or whatever but just fun and immersive like the old games.

Love it. Lots of secrets like the old ones when it comes to finding parts, the combat logs are fun, bosses are challenging and had me switch stuff up and try new things and just overall learn to get better. Reminds me of the old ones, definitely worth it if you like the older armored cores also. If you're looking for a souls like just because it's fromsoft it's not really what you're going to get though you can feel some of the formulas. It's fun, give it a try.

Feels good, looks great, and feels good becoming better at avoiding enemies, traps and helping your team. Honestly really fun with friends and worth picking up. Can be a little repetitive replaying trials but really isn't that bad at least 53 hours in and releasing 2 reagents so far. Good luck in the trials and I hope you enjoy this game!

Edit: After 78 total hours. Still noticing new things, new voice lines and small attentions to detail I had otherwise missed (You may have not). The details I really like about this game go far and wide such as.

Generator rooms having icons outside the room as like general "Generator inside, caution" to help show rooms.

Maps scattered around some missions to show location of quests like frequency boxes etc.

Locked doors having their lock busted completely off when the door is busted down.

I'm still finding new things about this game that kinda keep me interested.

I really like this game honestly, definitely recommend with or without friends and it's still in early access. Can't wait to see what all they add in the future, hopefully different assets maybe from the previous games if they'd ever make sense

Honestly really enjoyed this title and feel it is true and genuine to the original. I feel if you enjoyed the original then this is a must-have for sure no questions asked Mercenaries felt pretty good too, shame Ada wasn't in originally, maybe in the future and being able to bob and weave with Krauser and his stance animations was pretty awesome to sorta feel like he did during the knife fights with Leon.

EDIT: I saw the store page and had to comment on this. DO NOT BUY EXCLUSIVE UPGRADE TICKETS FROM THE STORE. Everyone knows the site for modding (idk if it's allowed to specify so I won't but rhymes with Lexus. You can download any of the plentiful merchant mods and have a field day with tokens and upgrade tickets if you cannot be bothered to ♥♥♥♥ with it all.) I don't care if you like modding or a vanilla experience. The exclusive upgrade tickets are not hard to get and even if you don't like them, do not go out of your way to spend money and be charged for ♥♥♥♥ like this.

I'll start with the downsides I (personally) feel about this game and want to start off that I played the original many times over on gamecube, wii, ps2, ps3/ps4. Edit: And the stupid exclusive tickets in the store page.

As far as downsides go there are some areas that have been removed from the game that will be added soon like Separate Ways.

-The U3 fight is no longer featured in the remake
-QTE's are removed
-Incen grenades are removed
-The laser room is removed
-The lava/fire room in the castle is removed.

There may be a few more things removed or missing but nothing super obvious right off the bat.

You could consider that not being able to send every item to storage could be considered a bad thing but I feel it's pretty much like the original and forces you to choose what you want to keep and of course upgrade the size of your case. (I think it's good but it's something I've had friends gripe about.)

I think that the charm system (Most notably the method of acquiring them) is just not ideal and maybe I'm whining but it's tied to save/playthru and you can't save/reload and get different charms if you don't like what you get. The only differences when it comes to what charms you'll acquire on your playthru is the amount of coins you use and their rarities therein. So for example using one silver and two gold coins compared to using 3 gold coins. You'll get the same results when you reload your game, though it does at least allow you to chart down your results and pick and choose from there if you're not happy with the first outcomes. You will have to start an entirely different playthru or ng+ to my knowledge to have new rolls, so I would recommend you save your tokens if you don't like grinding the shooting minigame until you are completely satisfied with your outcomes as they can take a while to rack up I feel.

-A few weapons were somewhat nerfed in this remake but I won't say them just for the sake of spoilers and I'd like to mention it's not that big of a deal being the type of weapons they are and what you'd be using them for but it is noticeable.

I didn't have many other dislikes as the game held firm towards most of the mechanics and I'll get straight into the positives.

-Loot in my experiences lasts forever on the floor (I've only had instances where in the intro to the village if you kill Dr. Salvador and don't pick up his gem right away, it may not be there after the church bell rings. Not sure why.)

-Melee combat along with being able to parry feels smooth (krauser fight included as you would hope it would) and allows for a lot of ways to save ammo and deal with enemies in a creative way that while may only result in a few kicks and suplex's, they do end up saving ammo and deal hefty damage and some crowd control. You can parry most attacks and duck under lunging enemies if you can react appropriately.

-The upgrades and tuning for weapons feels good as well as combining the gems with your treasures and even appreciating combining them in ways for squeezing out that extra bit of cash with multipliers.

All in all the game felt smooth and I only had two separate crashes when I tried streaming the game with some pretty intensive settings turned up to max but to the games credit, it did warn me that with my system it may be unstable with the settings turned up.

Tldr: Great game and pretty true to the original, had a few new mechanics like parrying and if you enjoyed the 2005 version then I would feel comfortable saying you'd enjoy this one too. Deluxe version has a nice pistol that is only slightly worse in terms of damage than the starting pistol but the other stats are better (same exclusive) and the treasure map is nice but definitely spoils where loot is so avoid it if you're not into that. Hope you all enjoy.

Honestly love this game so far and the bonus zones give me the creeps. Plays and runs well, looks great, tons to do so it's replayable and so far I haven't met anything that has really put me away from the game (yet, i'll edit this if possible in the future and update it or just make a new review.) But in the end it feels like if Fight Knight and some rougelite had a baby and the result was Mortal Sin. I love it, and it's not super expensive for the amount of hours you'd get out of this hack/n/slack/punch/weird game. Monk is stupid fun and the sinners resolve combo is neat.

The game is fun for a little while until you start to hit mid-late game and then it's mostly just trying to upgrade your gear. This is where it starts to just become tedious in regards of trying to find weapons in the shops that have a high base rating while also praying that RNG gives you good blessings as well. With this latest update it's easier to get the base weapons while still needing to rely on rng to get decent base stats but and blessings again but at least you can store the blessing if it's a good one you want (Still only weapon specific. If you take one off a blaze staff like "Terrifying barrage" i think it's called, you will only be able to apply it to that type of staff which unfortunately is like baby steps in terms of QoL.) and then apply it to another weapon of your choosing assuming you found a better roll for that type of weapon you want to use.

This is really my only main gripe aside from some annoyances with penances but they do feel nice once you do end up accomplishing them though some feel very group reliant and map heavy in terms of how easy some will be. (pick n mix is a good example, the mission with the bridge at the start is an easy way to scout and funnel in specials for it and is what I did to complete it.)

I like this game and the franchise but at least with these updates they just feel like small laughable attempts to get people to invest more time into the grind when they could throw us a bone or two. I have 365+ base rating weapons and 70+ rating accessories and can complete content, the main takeaway is the grind is just really boring and the game-play loop feels dissatisfying after a while.

As a long time fan of the souls series I can say I really enjoy this one. The open world is a bit intimidating but also liberating to explore and really go at your own pace. The games difficulty I would (in my own opinion) say depends on how much you explore and some fights will be much easier depending on the gear you find. There's tons to do and the only real complaint I have is that as usual some npc's are easy to miss and the questlines can be a little obscure but that's just me. I like the game a lot, spells/incantations/pyromancy are all really cool and melee is really good too with jumping attacks, sneak attacks and the like. Really worth the money if you're into the souls franchise or even if you're a new individual looking to get into the series, just don't give up and go at your own pace.
