I have a love hate relationship with this game, its fun but i cant in good conscious recommend it to anyone, especially fellow girl gamers.

pros: the reasons im still playing are very fun gunpla building and customization and the actual gameplay is fun too and graphics are good too. the game runs very well.

cons:
full of annoying characters with 0 depth.
the writing absolutely some of the worst ive seen in a video game. and very male centric minded despite having a few female characters.
no female option for player character
all the female NPCs are lacking any character depth and are insanely 1 dimensional and the game assumes girls dont know how to play video games and need the male character to explain things to them. which he does very annoyingly and brags about being good despite being mediocre.
Music is pretty annoying as well

verdict: If u really want to build custom gundams and fight with them then this game does this very well but you can decide whether its worth going through terrible writing and annoying bgm.

update: since i have beaten the game i can say that my previous critiques are pretty accurate but on top of previous critiques things got even worse. and the game treats the misogynistic womanizer as a charming individual and normalizing predatory behavior ill try not to spoil too much but the main villian is anti AI and takes over GB4 because GB4 was using AI to do game testing. overall moral of the game is "ai are people too"

so far a cute fun free game with :)

easily the best put together games i have played in a while. from graphics to story telling to character creation, to mod support, and just about everything else in the game is great. even so larian releases regular updates to make things better.

game is fun and all but wanting people pay monthly for content on top of the $60 for the full game is outrageous. i might change to positive when they change this.
