Great game! Love the detail and care obviously put into it, and while challenging at times, it's never impossible to complete the mission if you're careful and take the time to learn what you need.

Also, love how most of the complaints in the reviews can be boiled down to either "I HAVE A SKILL ISSUE" or "Not tailored to my personal preferences".

It's a little rough but I love the concept. Admittedly it's mostly the theme and concept that drives me to like the game, I've been hoping for a game similar to what you'd see in a cultivation manga for quite a while. The game-play itself is a little rough, but still very enjoyable. The only real issues I've run into are the issues with the servers, and the oddly short amount of time to use a gourd on enemies. Icon pops up and shatters away before I can actually equip the capture gourd to get the essence, resulting in a failure to collect. Admittedly though, that could just be a failure on my part to understand and properly execute the action.

Anyways, I like the game, mostly for the concept but the game itself is still fun for what it is and I don't blame the developers for the server issues or anything (some sort of offline mode would be nice though), I just really hope this doesn't go the way of Worlds Adrift and just end up being shut down/removed entirely.

I'll likely be putting in a good number of hours into this game. Honestly, I would probably already have tens of hours on Cultivation Tales if it wasn't for the server issues and the multiplayer binge of Elden Ring I've been on with my brother.

I wish the developers all the best and I hope to look forward to a bright future for the game they're crafting here.

So first of all, yes the graphics aren't amazing high-quality artwork. It's nowhere near the level of detail in things like Black Desert or Elder Scrolls Online.. But DON'T let this scare you off. The mechanics of the game, the level of freedom, and the amazing community more than make up for it. The developers are obviously working hard on this game and it shows.
The players in game are very helpful, some even going so far as making groups just to help newer or weaker players get certain skills or requirements done. If you have a question, ask in the help chat and someone will probably answer with something helpful.

Updates seem pretty regular and new content is still being added, plus there seems to be some kind of event or buff going on practically every day.

This is an amazing game with an insane amount of freedom. You can be many things and learn many skills. Start out as an Elf, cat person, or human. You can stick with whatever race you pick, learning many skills from things like swordsmanship and archery, to things like necromancy and fire magic.

You can go out into the (pretty dang large) world to explore, leveling up your Cartography just by uncovering the fog of the map. The mechanics are so wide and varied, there's something for everyone. You get EXP for everything. Get hit, earn Endurance EXP. Die, earn Death EXP, punch something to death, get Unarmed Combat EXP.

Become an Ice Magic casting rabbit, fly around as a giant bat, become a lycanthrope and switch between human or wolf forms, these are just some of the crazy possibilities with this game. (Hoping to see vampirism as an option at some point.)

Even just talking to the NPCs and helping them out is incredibly fun, there's often some great humor involved, and every NPC has a personality to them. There's even different dialogue depending on your race, and the lore behind everything and the way things are viewed by different races and people in the game are fascinating.

I've sunk a good amount of hours into this game in between my studies and college coursework and I've yet to regret buying it.

If anything, I think this is probably one of the very best MMORPGs I've ever played (and I've played many, many MMORPGs), even though I've only put nearly 60 hours total into it so far. There's still so much more to see and learn in this game and I'm excited to keep moving forward and continue exploring.

fun game, though it takes a little while to get into the swing of things. The different styles mix things up, and I could swear the NPCs you fight can use just about any style's defense move at any given time. Best way to play is to find the style you like and go from there. My personal order of style favorites from most to least would be Stagger>Faejin>Forsaken>Windfall>Kahlt

Forsaken is probably the most dangerous style to fight a master of, though the others can be very dangerous as well if properly utilized.

Very interesting, vaguely reminds me of the spiderwick chronicles.

I love things like this with puzzles related to alchemical symbols and magic, stories about obscure, strange, and fantastical things hidden from the world.

Overall it's a nice experience, though I hope that the longer story mentioned at the end becomes a game as well.

I took one look at this and I thought... WOW, I GOTTA TRY THAT!

To start off, the graphics are a bit blocky - but the game itself is very stable. I've experienced very few crashes and most of those were internet related. I'm not certain whether they intend to improve the graphics, but the current level doesn't really bug me.

The gameplay? Pretty fun. You can move with the usual teleporting method or a sliding method (watch for vertigo), and the combat is pretty well done. The main complaint with the combat though, is the inability to run away effectively. You can attempt to slide or teleport away, but your character's movement is cut by about half it's usual speed and enemies will chase you a good 30ft or more meaning that, depending on your level, escape can be nearly impossible. In some cases it's actually less suicidal to take an obviously superior enemy head-on...

Anyways, there's four classes - Warrior, Archer, Musketeer, and Runemage.

The Warrior can be considered a sort of intermediate but not difficult class, in my opinion. You get a sword and a shield - But beware! Blocking while attempting to swing can block your own attack or provide an opening for the enemy to attack. Also, the warrior has skills activated by swinging the sword in a certain pattern - up, down, left, right, right for example (This is off the top of my head, so that's probably not an actual combo. There is one with two ups in a row that had me going "What am I supposed to do, an 'around the world' arc?"). Anyways, pretty good for taking and dealing damage and, assuming you're good enough at swinging a sword, hampering the enemies with Status Effects.

The Archer isn't too tough to play - As long as you can aim a bow well. You also start out with about 4 or 5 status arrows that can do anything from poison an enemy, to bringing a rain of fiery arrows down onto their heads. unfortunately, you're limited to equipping about two of these at a time. You have an infinite amount of normal arrows and can shoot about as fast as you can notch and draw them, but using one of your special arrows will make you have to wait a period of time (about 10-15 seconds, it doesn't really tell you) before it appears again. Additionally, the Archer is equipped with a Turret! You can throw this into the air, where it will hover and continuously shoot your enemy. Or, if you shake the turret before you throw it, it will shoot you with healing bolts instead.

The Musketeer is my second favorite class - It's a gun. Point and shoot. Easy. Well... It's not the most accurate gun in the world, it's going to be slightly off kilter, but it's still a gun. Additionally, you have about 7 or so 'status shots' that you start with - You can choose up to four of these to equip at one time. These magic shots will hover around the barrel of your gun once equipped and to use them, you just have to grab them, shove them in the barrel, and shoot!
The musketeer has some offensive shots (poison, ice, fire, gravity) and some defensive/support shots (status cure, AOE healing spot creation, direct target healing etc.). It's probably one of the most versatile classes in terms of solo and support, just make sure to stand a distance away from the enemy :P

And finally my favorite class, The Runemage!
This is probably one of the toughest (and possibly most rewarding classes in the game.. Unfortunately you don't start out with it. First you have to go down the road, turn left at the bridge, get the witch drunk, and then bring her a stick. (Basically anyways). Additionally, the enemies that way will generally kill anyone below level 3 or so in a 1v1. So yeah.. Don't expect to get this class until you've been in game for at least an hour or more.
Also, don't expect to be using it right away either. I'd say you can expect between 15-60 minutes practicing drawing runes before you're ready to use this class effectively enough to fight low level monsters.

Anyways, once you're a runemage you won't have to worry about pesky things like Mana or Skill Points, or even finding the runes! Nope, long as you can draw a rune then you can cast it! Meaning that if you find the rune online, or a more experienced mage teaches you, you'll be able to cast the spell - as long as you can draw it correctly of course!
The Runemage is possibly one of the most frustrating classes to play as because of it's unique casting system, but also one of the most fun and rewarding - There's nothing quite like turning the ghost or warg attacking you into a chicken, or blasting a previously chilled dragon with an Ice Spear, shooting a fireball and blowing up a deer, or even just cursing a beast and watching it die before it can reach you.

Also, there are rituals you can perform - basically spells that you have to draw multiple runes in a row to cast. There are two currently available - Resurrection, which allows you to revive a player at the cost of a Runemage Reagent, and Portal, which allows you to create a portal to a Marker Pillar of your choosing at the cost of a Runemage Reagent.

Now for the biggest con of the Runemage - They can damage, they can teleport, they can wreak havoc and change, and even remove status effects... But Runemages are unable to heal. There are currently no healing spells in the game, so make sure to carry around a health potion or two.

Expect a lot of practice, muscle memory, and regular memory involved in being a Runemage

Anyways, the leveling is a bit slow, the item gathering can be as well, the story isn't bad, and the game is overall pretty fun to play. Expect a lot of questing and grinding though, especially from level 3-5 and up.

Overall, I would definitely recommend this game to anyone looking for a VRMMO or even just a cool MMORPG game with interesting mechanics.

Really like this game so far, the vehicles and base-building is pretty cool and the sealife in the game is awesome. It's a little hard to get some of the starting materials needed, and while some are obvious and/or easy to find/gather, some are a lot harder to figure out or get. Overall though, once you get the hang of it, the game is really fun and fairly simple to understand and play. Some parts are pretty interesting (Got a leak in my base at one point. Managed to get it fixed after a bit of searching and from then on I put the sealed doors in pairs around important parts of the base to help prevent flooding in case of such problems)

The only major problem/annoyance I've experienced, is the Reaper Leviathan's tendency to ignore terrain. Whether it surprises you from the hill/duneside, gets you through a tunnel, or avoids your attack by diving into the terrain, it's really annoying.
Also, you can't really build the rocket base yet, even in the creative mode type thing which made me sad since I wanted to see it.

I'll see about editing this if I run into any big bugs or problems.
