There's been a lot of addicting games, but I think this one tops the charts. The ball mechanic can be a bit irritating at first, but it quickly gets more interesting as you unlock more things that opens up the build variety. The progression and power creep is also a thing of beauty.

The best and most unique autobattler there currently is. The gameplay is fantastic and will only get better over time as more heroes and cards get added to the card pool and diversity goes up. IMO the balancing has always been pretty solid and any major problems get addressed fairly quickly. New heroes and sets are almost always overpowered on release but get dialed in surprisingly quick.

Ignore all the complaints about monetization since they have zero relevance now and this game may have one of the whiniest, most entitled vocal minorities I've seen among gaming communities. I've played since decently early on in the closed beta and the game has been consistently fun to play throughout.

So buggy I couldn't even complete the tutorial

I wanted to like this but it's kind of ridiculous how unpolished the game still is after so much time. An example is there still not being range indicators after nearly a year. The art style is terrible but of course that isn't something that would prevent me from playing the game, just another negative to tack on. They also added Easy Anti-Cheat which is another reason not to have this installed.

Completely braindead decision to require an EGS account. You'd think developers would've learned from the Helldivers debacle.

This game is so good. Both the exploration/collecting and management/restaurant aspects of the game are engaging and work well together. New mechanics are introduced at a good pace. The animations are hilarious, the minigames/controls are solid, and the story/sidequests have been entertaining so far.

It's okay but there's not much depth and the pacing isn't great. It also falls into the mistake every game of this genre has except it's worse in this case since you have towers spread throughout the map killing things for you: having to pick up the exp drops.

I could write an essay on everything Fatshark dropped the ball on but it's just not worth the time. The other reviews cover it well enough I'm sure. But once this review is 2 years old it'll probably be a decent game.

Doesn't really do anything different so I can't justify playing this vampire survivors clone. 6 weapon cap and no speed control (at least at the start) make it very slow paced.

Missing all the little details that made Left 4 Dead amazing. The game is way too grindy, can't start building effective decks until you dig deep into some of the trees. Characters are bland and cliche. Matchmaking is already pretty dead due to the lack of playerbase.
