txr is back! GRP has taken a great game and zapped more life into it. well worth the price even for EA with even more on the horizon. If you are like me and enjoyed the games many years ago, do yourself a favor and get it. You wont be disapointed.

Ive never described a racing game as "Souls-like" untill now because every interaction with AI on four wheels could mean your instant death. You will have your opponents turn you around before the first turn of the race. They will cut across 3 lanes of traffic just to nail your rear quarter panels and leave you yelling "monicaaaaaaa" as they all zip past you. Opponents cant be pitted as they are on rails or magnets sneakily installed in the road. The economy also leaves something to be desired as the tire wear and fuel consumption are applied even when restarting the race. You get destroyed by the AI and also have to eat the cost of maintenance. A single race can potentially COST you upwards of 10k. The fools didnt QA this game or even if they did it was without actually racing or having traffic on the road. i can only hope they pull their heads out of their asses and address these problems. The game has potential but unless you are a glutton for punishment and desire a souls like experience in your racing, just wait to buy this steamer.

its really not a bad game once you get past the cheaters and spawn campers. If you can get a on a private server do so. I expect it to get alot better once they allow a wider variety of items to be spawned and not being stingy about it on the private servers.
