This game is an absolute blast, fairly realistic once you get past the graphics and the community is very close knit. Every mod that comes out fits in to the game and a lot has been added to the base game. Additionally if you've gone through the easy game modes there are much harsher versions that will test you knowledge of maps, spawns and even then loot is still scarce so life isn't guaranteed. I can only imagine what multiplayer would be like since i have no friends kappa.
