Pros:
- Kyle Crane is voiced by the talented Roger Craig Smith.
- The game is much more challenging than Dying Light 2, especially in the early stages (keep an eye on the stamina bar).
- There’s a blend of mechanics from Dying Light 1, The Following, and Dying Light 2.
- Enjoyable racing mini-game for some laughs.
- Nighttime is significantly more difficult, encouraging better stealth tactics with a stronger emphasis on horror elements.
- Weapons and armor are acceptable, and there's a fun "beast mode."
- Beast mode features entertaining finisher animations.

Cons:
- It follows the same formula as previous Dying Light games.
- Zombies grab you far too often (this is currently being addressed).
- While nighttime is tougher, the chases can feel less engaging due to the increased speed of Vol and a lack of parkour agility.
- The story is somewhat underwhelming, although it does have its exciting moments.
- Parkour and movement are slower compared to earlier games.
- The skill progression system is not great, with a maximum level cap of 15.
- Boss battles can be inconsistent in terms of quality.
