Though the mini games were often a bit tedious, the story and charming art direction more than makes up for it.

This game manages to handle some sensitive topics with the respect they deserve, and it definitely managed to get me choked up at times. Bring tissues, just in case.

Hidden Folks truly feels like a labour of love. Delightful little hidden object game, where the in-game hints give you just enough direction to be able to find the tiny people by yourself (though admittedly I did need a guide a few times when I just couldn't quite figure out a puzzle).

A very cute and relaxing little jigsaw puzzler, though the highest piece-count modes can feel more frustrating than relaxing at times, with vast spaces of, for example purple pieces with white spots.

I was gifted this game by a dear friend of mine. It's an absolutely delightful little game that, while it seems lighthearted and silly on the surface, sneaks in some deeper messages.

Fun little puzzles, an absolutely delightful art style, and some lovely tunes that I'll definitely be adding to some of my playlists.

The game isn't very long, but it doesn't need to be - 100%ing both the basegame and the free postgame scenario took me about a day, and it felt very satisfying both in terms of gameplay and stuff-to-do-ness, any longer and it probably would've felt too padded.

The absolute love the devs poured into this game while creating it is palpable. I definitely recommend this little game if you're in need of a sweet, chill little game that'll also give you ~some feels~

Does exactly what the title says - find 100 hidden cats!

Would have liked more images to search in, but for the price I got it for (€0,47) I can't complain - fun little hidden item game.

Loads super smoothly, takes up hardly any disk space whatsoever, progress saved per cat found so you can easily just play this in mini bursts. Not gonna lie, I rolled my eyes at first at seeing the 100 achievements list, but while playing I found the constant pinging of achievements pretty amusing.

Charming little game.

A very charming little game, with lovely visuals and animations (all the cats in the game are very nicely animations, and especially the cat you play as has great animations, from sliding down a slanted roof to grooming himself as his idle animation).

It is however a very short game, so depending on how much you're willing to spend on 'cost per hour' you may find the full price a little steep. Apart from perhaps getting all the achievements, the game doesn't have much replay value. On the other hand, part of the proceeds from this game are donated to various animal welfare organisations, so it seems fair enough to me.

The controls of this game are a little off (they're not quite as responsive as you'd like in a platforming game), and hitboxes aren't always very clear so you can at times lose lives seemingly unfairly. Especially some of the 'boss battles' can get quite frustrating because of this, especially the one at the end of the second level and the platforming challenge at the last level.

Some may find the inclusion of the 'celebrity cats' eyeroll-worthy, but I quite liked them, and their likenesses are very well done. Keeping Henri Le Chat Noir completely monochrome like in his videos was a nice touch.

All in all a nice effort for the studio's very first game, and something that certainly gave me the warm fuzzies.

A wholesome little game, with lovely visuals and a soothing soundtrack that I'll eagerly pay money for to listen to outside of playtime. The protagonist can be a bit tricky to control at certain times, and I absolutely recommend using a controller for this game - I used an xbox 360 controller and didn't have a lot of issues, apart from falling off bridges a few times. Though there is a clear goal to be reached, the game never feels like it's actively pushing you towards it, instead inviting you to explore the island at your own pace.

Claire is a wonderful protagonist, and very "relatable" - a horrendously overused term nowadays, but I really did feel connected to this bird's worries and doubts, and I caught myself smiling constantly while exploring the lovingly crafted island. The things the main character worries about - waiting for important calls, feeling uncertain about trying new things, allowing yourself to just relax and experience the wonderful scenery around you, is something many people struggle with, and the game has a wonderful way of addressing those issues without being patronizing.

There's currently a bug where the fishing can cause your game to freeze, but the developer is working hard on fixing this issue, and until then regular saving should save you from losing progress.

A Short Hike is a delightful, short adventure that I'll be revisiting regularly when I'm in need of some relaxing exploration.
