You essentially do research into various publications, piecing a puzzle together of what happened and what you need to do, but it's more like you're checking the cross-references from other people's notes so it works as a game? It was very engaging, I liked it a lot.

Cute little pirate adventure.

Chill photography game with fun creature designs, light puzzling. The photography mechanics are pretty basic, there is just zoom and height, but the game makes for a fun adventure in some magical environments.

Well executed research simulation, interesting world. Had to turn to hints towards the end, though. I was a bit disappointed that I didn't get to build the family tree myself, it was like I was doing the work that was already done - but then again, this set-up was probably necessary for this type of game to work. Overall - good!

It is a puzzle in the sense that the whole house is a puzzle. The clues are not overly obtuse and there are multiple clues for most things you need to solve in the house. After you find the clues, they will inform your strategy in drafting rooms in the house. The goals are dispersed, so you're not only looking to reach the final room, but also uncovering secrets and stories within the house. The setting has rich world building and really helped me along, since I was piecing together what happened in the past when I wasn't progressing in the puzzles or upgrading my "deck".

Really a great game, big recommend, and NEVER look up a guide - it's worth it.

Fun spin on riichi mahjong. The powers evokes the round-table dynamics that other mahjong games don't have, and there's a laid-backness to the campaign and the challenges it poses. Really like the art as well.
