This game is an absolute masterpiece. The world and story are crafted with such obvious love and passion, the characters are relatable and brilliantly fleshed out, the combat is genuinely interesting and complex, the crafting system is satisfying, the weather system is so compelling, and save for a few moments of struggle with the climbing mechanics I can't really fault the game on anything.
This is the kind of game you can get heavily emotionally invested in, and it makes it worth it. The creators clearly cared so much about this game, it shows in every single second of interaction. I can't recommend it highly enough.

This game is beautiful. From the first few minutes I was absorbed completely - it's such a simple concept, executed brilliantly. The controls are intuitive, the graphics are beautiful, the gameplay is fun and engaging, and the character interactions are evocative and kind of heart-rending. What I love most about this game is that with the themes of mental health struggles, depression, grief, regret and loneliness, the game presents meditation, friendship, creative outlets and self care in a really beautiful way - but it doesn't make the harmful mistake of portraying these things as a cure-all for mental illness, which could have very easily happened. I'll definitely be playing a lot more of this.

Let me start by saying that I received a product key for this game, and played some of it on my stream on Twitch. I didn't continue to play the game on Twitch because it required too much focus, and made it difficult to interact with my community at the same time - but I played this game from start to finish in just a few days. I've put roughly 75 hours into this game, completed every quest, scoured every inch of the map, messed around in the dungeon creator, and I am in love with it. Obviously there's room to grow, and someone in chat described the models as looking like 'slightly melted wax figures', but this game is so worthwhile. It needs polish, for sure - there are some quest items that get stuck in your inventory, some dialogue text doesn't match the voice acting, and the dungeon builder needs work (please, please give us elevation mechanics), but I'm absolutely sure those things will be smoothed out and more content will be added. This game is one to keep an eye on, and I would strongly recommend playing it as it is even now. It's just a great experience, with a really enjoyable story, fun mechanics, and an immersive, beautiful world. 7/10.

Tera is the one game that I just keep coming back to, over and over again, year after year. The cutscenes are clunky and the sound never matches up with the animation, the PVP is hideously broken in some areas, and combat gets grindy and repetetive - but the world is so beautiful, and I'm yet to find anything in any MMO even remotely as satisfying as playing a Mystic in Tera. It's free to play - you've got nothing to lose besides a few hours if you don't like it. Give it a try; you might fall in love, like I did.

The hype for this game was incredible; I looked forward to it forever. Then, when I finally got into it, I was greeted with a beautiful character design screen, some relatively versatile classes, and then... just another Korean MMO. Just another pointless grind-fest with a basic and boring storyline, no real sense of immersion, and OP moves right off the bat that rob you of any sense of fulfilment. You don't earn anything, you don't DO anything, you just run from grind-quest to grind-quest making big pretty flashy streaks with your weapon. I was bored instantly.
This game is the biggest letdown I've had on Steam in years.
