World of Sea Battle starts off strong, sailing, trading, and naval combat feel genuinely fun, especially early on. The demo showed real promise, with solid graphics and satisfying ship battles.

But the full release sinks under heavy monetization. It’s blatantly pay to win: premium ships, outperform regular ones, and months of progress can be skipped with money. A subscription boosts XP and loot, loot crates offer tiny drop chances, and even essentials like ammo are absurdly priced, for example, 2,000 Saxon shots cost around $2. Add in insurance, premium miners, and paid peace time, and it’s clear the game is designed to drain wallets.

The imbalance gets worse since most veteran players (mostly from Russia) had early access and dominate the seas, leaving new players hopelessly behind. Outdated menus, lingering beta bugs, and reports of lost accounts make things even rougher.

It’s a shame, because underneath all the greed, there’s a genuinely enjoyable naval game. But right now, World of Sea Battle feels less like an adventure, and more like a cash grab disguised as one.

I’ve spent over 23 hours playing Game of Thrones: Kingsroad, and while it started off as a really fun experience, I’ve hit a major wall that’s hard to ignore, the game strongly pushes you to spend money to make real progress.
The gameplay itself is enjoyabl, the graphics are solid for a mobile game, and the overall atmosphere does justice to the Game of Thrones universe. Early on, there's enough action and strategy to keep things interesting.
However, once you get past the early stages, it becomes clear that advancement is super slow. Almost everything starts requiring premium currency or long wait times unless you pay.
It's a shame because the core game is actually good. But the aggressive monetization turns what could have been a great mobile strategy game into a frustrating grind unless you're willing to open your wallet.

The servers are dead, and everything being set in Bangladesh doesn't feel very immersive to me as a European. I recommend trying something like Ready or Not or something like that.

Looks like a Crusader Kings 2 with EU IV

Expect to spend half your time thinking of complex military maneuvers and the other half explaining to your teammates why running straight at the enemy isn't a valid tactic.
I have PTSD from this game btw.
