Early Access Review
TL;DR - Implementing invasive software in a social platform with no competitive scene, against the will of its playerbase and creators is a s**t decision.

Was an early supporter of VRC+, hoped the revenue stream would help make one of my favorite, community driven, social platforms better.
Instead here we are, they pushed an update that a large portion of the community disagreed with, and even made a statement about not reverting nor walking it back.
A community driven platform and it's devs said "F*** you" to the community.
Anti-Cheat, especially one as easily exploited as EAC, in a non competitive "game" (its a social plaform, theres game subsections but it's literally called VR Chat) is a weird maneuver to begin with; then they doubled down and released it against the wishes of its users and content creators.
Without the community creating, VRChat is nothing but an empty shell. Perhaps the devs think they can do it all themselves, I guess we'll see.

The game isn't bad.
It's not revolutionary, it's not fantastic.
Yes it has bugs, sometimes round ending bugs.
The game, however, is a solid hack and slash D&D game.
It just needs some TLC.

Let me start off by saying this game is buggy, very very buggy. I've had blades vanish into the floor, had the delivery mechanism return 2 minutes before my delivery (items just pop into existence once the timer finishes), had items not arrive when ordered and had pommels glitch into the assembly table never to be able to be used or to be used twice (somehow).

With all that said, its a great time killer, and with a little patience and attention, there is much fun to be had.

All in all, its a fantastic time killer with some horrendous bugs that can make or break a session.

As someone who has played and beaten all three Dark Souls and Bloodborne, next to Bloodborne I enjoyed Dark Souls 3 the most. Two glaring issues that instantly spring to mind is that DS1 had frequent fps drops (even with the fixes) and DS2 had a nasty habit of throwing "unblockable/instakill" boss attacks at you.
But for why i enjoyed DS3 the most, I couldn't quite say. The combat is fluid, the hitboxes are like all the soulsborne games, the enviroments are beautiful and well crafted, and of course it challenges you. Perhaps it was the amazing soundtrack looking at you, main title theme). One thing I wasn't an overly big fan of, was the DLCs.
The Oolaceil(Oolaciel?) DLC from DS1 was well scaled and felt seamless, whereas both the Ashes of Ariandel and The Ringed City seemed like they were meant to be played even later than the endgame. They felt poorly scaled in my opinion, but perhaps that's because they are the first and only times the game actually tries to challenge you.
All in all, DS3 was incredibly fun and I recommend it.

TL;DR
DS3 only really challenges you within the Ashes of Ariandel and The Ringed City, but that doesn't stop it from being fun.

First hour: This is really cool
Second Hour: Wait a second, this game feels really familiar
Third Hour: ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ this is Assassin's Creed: Mordor
9/10 would gladly assassinate another orc captain

PS: Seriously though this game is an Assassin's Creed clone, and that isn't a bad thing
