Gameplay is enjoyable for a couple hours, but honestly it feels more like MW 2019's ground war than a mainline Battlefield title. Maps are smaller, engagements are pretty much constant with no downtime, vehicle customization has been largely simplified. Also to be frank, the maps are just super visually uninteresting, with the exceptions of the ones in NYC.

Progression is also tied to challenges, some of which are frankly ridiculous to expect anyone with a 9-5 job to complete in a reasonable timeframe. Don't see myself playing this long term.

Really enjoying it so far. Obviously it's an early access title with all that entails. Still, the core gameplay feels good. Weapon mechanics and sounds are great, environments are awesome, the few pvp fights I've gotten into have been a lot of fun, and so far I'm enjoying the Heli drop system.

Couple things I'd like to see in future updates:

- More variety of non-gear loot and valuables to reward exploration
- Please god tone down the nature sounds I can't hear myself over the frog noise
- Would like to see AI health tweaked. I don't care how ♥♥♥♥♥♥ the round I'm using is- it shouldn't take a half dozen unarmored head shots to kill an AI
