I'd say this is a worthy successor of C&C, however I feel a few areas in the game need more attention and addressing. If you're looking for an RTS with a solid campaign, Tempest Rising is definitely not a bad choice. However if you're looking for Skirmish, I'd look elsewhere until more content is added for the game. As it stands for launch, it's fleshed out in some areas while bare bones in others, which I will list the bare bones here:

- No third playable faction (I'm aware they will be added in the future)
- Only 9 maps for Skirmish (Only 1v1 & 2v2 as of now)
- Very limited Skirmish options (Like AI player options, game types, etc)
- Lack of super/epic units or superweapons

As for the good stuff, the two playable factions have fairly fleshed out and asymmetrical rosters which is welcoming, rather than have both play almost the same like in old C&C games. Which I hope the third faction will do the same when they're fully playable. Campaign has good mission variety and design with interesting world building, etc. The Doctrine and Armory systems add more replay value for campaign as well, which I hope to see the Armory upgrades utilized for Skirmish in the future.

Tempest Rising overall is shaping to be another good high budget RTS, however it still needs more content in the aforementioned aspects to be truly great. I also hope to see an editor and possibly mod tools to really open up the game with potential. Until then, I'll be sticking with C&C3 and SC2 for how much more they offer.

A very solid game and RTS all around, however pale in comparison to SupCom 1/FA. In addition, not being a worthy sequel to the original. However if you ignore its faults, shortcomings and not compare it to the original then a worthy RTS awaits you. SupCom 2 has its optics and is a perfectly serviceable game. If you want a more simple and easy to learn RTS then SupCom 2 may be up your alley.

Hands down one of the best HL2 mods ever made to date. A massive upgrade from Entropy : Zero 1. If you love Half-Life then this is a must-play.

Definitely one of the best FPS games I've played. The combat, gunplay and A.I. still hold up to this day and is even better than most modern games, which is saying something. The graphics and visuals are still nice to look at, especially the lighting which still holds up for it's age as well.

I think my main criticism however are the level designs, more-so the aesthetics for most maps. All of em feel samey and kind of boring to look at due to the washed out color palette etc. But it's not the worst I've seen.

Story I feel is serviceable, it's nothing too fancy or too jarring though I think the gameplay was the game's biggest selling point. The Horror elements do their job but it's far from perfect when it comes to the horror aspect of the game.

This is a must-have if you love FPS games let alone action horror.
