Amazing. One of my favorites. Is CK2 better? Maybe. Probably. But CK3 is great.

As of today, February 2025, well over a year since release, between a binary choice of recommended, or not, I would recommend this game. It finally has enough content, assets, mods, and quality of life improvements to warrant the recommendation.

The caveat is that the state of the game and the content that is available today, well over a year since release, are those that should have been shipped with the game in October 2023. There's still lots of content missing, content that is clearly being held back to be released as DLC later, and systems that still need to be improved/fixed. But like I said, it's in the state now that one would have, and should have expected it to be at release. A year and half ago. Take from that what you will in terms of the state-of-the game.

There are mods that should be considered to be absolutely 100% essential to your enjoyment of the game. These provide functionality and tools that, again, should just be in the base game. But those mods are ready and work great.

The DLCs are mostly trash with absolutely obscene pricing relative to the content they provide. The free content creator packs are miles and miles beyond the assets and content they are charging for. Just stick with those and you'll be fine for now. If it wasn't for the content creator packs (which were made by users and not the developers), I would still not be able to recommend this game.

WARNO is an excellent RTS with deep mechanics, varied units, interesting tactics, and from a developer that has been one of the best in the genre for decades. The game provides fast based action, an active multiplayer community, and can give you endless hours of fun. The deep roster of units does impose a steep learning curve to new players who will need to both get used to the fast pacing of action on map and become familiar with unit match ups, strengths, and weaknesses. If that all sounds awesome to you, then WARNO is a can't miss.

I tried this game. It's terrible. It's a really really basic MMO that looks and plays like it's straight out of 2005. But whatever, lots of people liked it, but it wasn't for me. So, I stopped playing it, forgot about it, and would have just let it lie. They have now decided it would be a great idea to start banning inactive players, resulting in a permanent ban notice on your Steam account. I've had this steam account for 14 years. And now I'm at risk of receiving a permanent ban notice on my account just cause I tried it for a couple of hours and had the audacity to decide I didn't like their ♥♥♥♥♥♥ ass game?

Don't waste your time with this. It's a shallow, boring MMO that innovates on nothing and quickly devolves into a punishing grind fest and a micro transaction hell hole.

OK. This game is absolutely amazing. I refunded the game originally due to lack of native ultrawide support, and bought it at a discount when it went on sale. Since I am unable to experience multiplayer, player messages, invasions, and co-op, I am unwilling to pay them full price for only part of the experience.

But with all that said, there's no getting around the fact that this game is absolutely incredible. It's going to punish you. Constantly. But once you get into the swing of it and understand the mechanics a bit...it's still going to punish you. Constantly.

If you have a ultrawide monitor Flawless Widescreen is an absolute must. Get it. Experience the game in it's full glory. But buy the game on sale, because you wont have access to all the MP features.

Game lacks native support for ultrawide resolutions. Not only that, the game is fully capable of running in full ultrawide resolution. The developers have decided to instead just place black bars on the sides of your screen instead of allowing you to take full advantage of your hardware and play games with the resolution you prefer.

I requested a refund. I will wait for a sale and buy this game with discounted features for a discounted price.

This game is absolutely amazing. So happy it finally came to PC. Not only that, this is one of the best console to PC ports of a game I have every played.

This game is a janky, ugly mess. Took me several hours just to get my HOTAS key bindings working correctly before I could even begin to try out the game. Bad writing, bad voice acting, bad character models, janky AI, completely nonsensical UI, complete lack of new player experience, pretty atrocious flight model. Just no.
