Quite fun, albeit the randomization isn't that big when you start playing NG+.
A chaos randomization update would probably be fun for players who already finished the game.

For a game like this to be made by 1 person alone, it's really really good, and delivers on the promise. Also it's indeed hard, although I didn't try switching to easy mode.
One thing I found weird is Nightingale only having 4 fingers to put rings on. XD

I do wish there were more cute outfits to use too and that have some good stats.

Alas, I'm too lazy to make a proper review, so:
- Gameplay is good.
- Soundtrack is good.
- Art is really good, including the wall paintings.
- Replayability due to NG+ introducing new things, and it has multiple endings.

Alas, waiting for the 1700s update!

All I can say is "Disappointed I am"
There are 2 reasons, gameplay and menus that run away from you.

Thou the main reason is the gameplay and how weapons works.
If you use short swords or anything meant to be held in 1 hand, it'll work just fine, the problem begins when you go to long bladed weapons such as long swords, great swords and the many other big weapons there. When you swing them, it feels like somebody attached a big boulder to their tip, which causes them to overswing and wobble a lot, which makes using them awful and unpredictable, you basically have no control over them, I even saw my wrists doing a 360 rotation a couple of times, as the weapon just swung through my body.
If the game markets itself as realistic, you'd expect it's weapons to work at least, and not feel like your wrists are made out of rubber that can barely hold the weapon. I tried compensating for the overswing and wobble as it bounces back to resting position, but it just left my arms hurting and didn't work.
Some big weapons also makes your arm movement very slow for some reason.

I really liked what the game was going for, the variety of weapons, even the guns are funny too, but with a gameplay like that, it's not fun, it's frustrating, and I ain't gonna spent all my time playing with only short 1 handed weapons
I heard people say the combat was better before some updates, wonder why the dev went this path of making it bad.

The 2nd reason, I can't read the menus, they actively run away from you if you try to approach, specially since they already appear far away from you, if you squint your eye hard enough u may be able to read it. The worst part that gave me headaches was what I can only call the most stupidest design ever, the menus move alongside your head, so when you turn your head to try and see what is on the sides of the Menu, they move and you can never see anything besides the middle of it.
I did manage to bug the menu 2 times, making it not to follow my head movement, but they still were very far away and moved away from me when I tried to approach. I tried replicating the bug, but couldn't.

One last thing, the parry system doesn't work properly, it seems to want you to hit the enemy's weapon before it even attacks, else, if you try to deflect or parry them, they'll just swat your weapon out of the way and continue the attack like nothing happened, which means this game has no riposte opportunity too, maybe if dev fixed the parry system it would be better.
Also, you'll never be able to parry with a 2 handed weapon because of how bad they perform.

Also, not sure if my controller is having some issue, but when trying to pull a weapon to my hand, it would turn 90° degrees and grab it the wrong way, meaning I had to drop it and try to pick it up again to be in the correct position.

These are my refund reasons, because price is high here, if it becomes better in the future I may try it again.
I did try the forums before to see if there was any way to fix the menus, or a way to make the weapons work like normal, or even a mod that does so, I found nothing, and got no answer either.

Not sure how to do this review since the experience is heavily dependent on what you use, so, I'll cover on a few things you should know before hand as well as some thoughts

If you liked AiDungeon or any other text adventure AIs and wanted something more, like a more persistent way to keep track of things, this game would technically be it.
The game by itself is good, had a good way to keep track of things and relay them to the AI when necessary, although, it could do with a few bit of tweaks for better information relaying, but thankfully the dev is constant updating the game, plus he also opened for people to make custom prompts that may help for specific AIs.

Gaming experience is fun if you like RPG style gameplay, and it also depends on what AI you use, I had some very good and some very bad ones, thankfully the game has an undo function in case something too bad happens.
Music is good too.
