Update: As of October 3rd 2024 you no longer require an Epic Store Account to Play. So I can fully recommend this game now.

So you require an Epic Store Account to use it. Nowhere is this mentioned on the store page. Did we not just teach this lesson to another publisher. This is immensely disappointing.

Update: While they now show that you need a 3rd party (Epic Game Store) to play online, it is still very disappointing that this was not mentioned before launch. Yes it takes very little time to set up, however there are those who want nothing to do with Epic. This makes what is otherwise a very solid and fun sequel to EDF 5.
