As someone who played through the other two Metro games multiple times, this is better than both of them. They improved on basically all the mechanics they could have, but adding open-world elements to Metro was the best move they could have made.

If you have two or three friends who are good with communication/teamwork and willing to put in effort for a highly challenging but highly rewarding experience, this game is an incredible use of 25 dollars.

If you don't, get some of those friends and then buy this game.

Non-ranger playthrough is a singleplayer FPS game.

Ranger playthrough is a knife throwing simulator.

Bug on the Tower level made me lose my moral playthrough. );

Pro Tip: The cars, catch on fire, but do not explode. Also, all cover in-game is indestructible.

Doesn't provide a good tutorial, incredibly confusing to newcomers, as you're pitted against experts who have been playing since EE. One of the only good tutorials is a TWO HUNDRED PAGE GUIDE. Worst buy I have ever made on Steam, awful investment.

+Best arcade shooter I have ever played, even though I was hesitant to buy it at $12 before a sale, I am deeply grateful that I did buy it.

I would rate a solid 0/10, it's a complete waste of money, and even if it was free, it would be an awful waste of 200 MB. Downloading a virus would be more worth your time. Turn back now
