If you love sim-cade racing games it's definitely worth getting (maybe 40-50 bucks).
*Definitely don't buy it for full price.*

- Release was terrible (as to why it's mostly negative reviews)
- Post patch had 1 crash, but no blatant annoying bugs.
- Car progression was a bad idea (which is now fixed, so you can buy parts like normal)
- They added more maps (Nürburgring full circuit finally)
- physics, and handling feel amazing
- content is a bit more limited compared to other Forza games in the franchise
- Both the credit FOMO, and real money FOMO kinda sucks.
- There is definitely no reason the game should have released in the state it was, but welcome to modern gaming.

Shader times aren't even my worry here, but yes they took 30 minutes.... The main issue is that the game caused Nvidia nvlddmkm error after about 10 minutes of gameplay where it essentially crashed and force rebooted my PC. I have a i9 12900K, 32GB of DDR5, and a 3080TI. Looking deeper at the log files on Windows 11, the reboot was due to the game causing lower level issues with nvidia drivers. This affected the hardware fan controller functions. The GPU was essentially overworked for no damn reason, and the drivers just ♥♥♥♥ the bed. Everything was up-to-date. 1 Soft crash back to windows, followed by a hardware level system restart was all I needed to blatantly say, "DO NOT BUY THIS". It's basically a $60 virus if it's causing hardware problems. (I know not everyone is having this issue, but ♥♥♥♥ that... flat out). I can run any game no problem, and this is the first and only crash I've ever had since I've owned this PC (2022 to date). I'm sure they'll fix things eventually, but having my PC restart makes me singlehandedly never want to boot it up again. I'm not playing the NVLDDMKM rabbit hole again, as that fault borderlines similar error codes that can lean towards a failing GPU.
