Review:
25 hours in (gametime, not Steam time) and the game is great!
I hope the team adds performance fixes and fixes the booty cheeks facial animations, however.
The combat challenges system is amazing! Please keep this in a sequel!

Things for the future of the games (DEVS PLEASE READ):
1. DO NOT MAKE THE SEQUEL TO THIS GAME AN MMO!
-- Many Harry Potter fans are now adults and I know for one, I don't want to sink thousands of hours into a game, because I simply don't have time to. I want to play a game and beat it. That's all the satisfaction I need.

2. Consider adding Quidditch to give the game a multiplayer aspect, so that they:
-- 1. Shut up about the team adding it
-- 2. Can get their fill of a multiplayer experience in a Wizarding World game
-- Note: I am 100% indifferent on it being added, as I have no need to play yet another multiplayer game or have to get more achievements, but I know a lot of people want it.

3. Please add more black and purple outfits to the game
-- I want my character to look like they're from the Matrix, Bladerunner 2049, or like Knightmare Batman and all the current black outfits look goofy with the long socks.
--- I'd prefer a suit look, similar to the Dark Arts suit

4. I have yet to beat the game, but please do not continue this story in a sequel.
-- It's great so far, but I want each game(s) to feel fresh and new, not have the same exact side-quests, challenges, Merlin Trials, etc., but just play as a sixth year student

5. Most importantly, please keep the way combat challenges work in a sequel!
- They are awesome, because you don't have to open your field guide to complete them, they just appear in battle, which is the best implementation I've ever seen!

6. Contrary to my 4th point, I think it would be awesome if you could transfer your character to a new game and all their spells, outfits, etc., but be able to visit the other Wizarding Schools; basically, if you could be a student studying abroad at another Wizarding school, that would be sick!
- I immediately thought this when the Quidditch professor mentioned that there was a school in Japan
-- I'm no weeabo, but exploring how magic is used in different regions of the world, would be amazing!

7. Adding to my 6th point, maybe this could be DLC ("A Summer abroad" type beat), rather than a whole year spent at the Wizarding School, but "lengthy". Maybe like 10 hours or so and you can learn maybe 10 or less new spells, but get to experience different Wizarding Schools and different settings that we have never experienced the Wizarding World in before.
- Some of my favorite parts in the movies are when they venture outside of the Hogwarts area and to places like the beach, the Ministry of Magic, Harry's home, etc.

8. If I could summarize my 1st, 4th, 6th, and 7th points, I would say make sequels similar to how Assassin's Creed series is; different settings and different time periods.
- Important to note, that I mean this on the smaller scale that the teams developing the games are going forward; shorter and more focused.
-- This would be a great way to do DLC or a sequel!

9. I very much appreciate the devs respecting our time in the game and only having about 70 hours of content.
- So many open world games feel the need to have like 100+ hours of "content" that is mostly just doggy filler and fetch quests, but everything I do in this game feels like I'm doing it for a reason, which is great!

10. Listing this one more time as I know there are a ton of points; DEVS, DO. NOT. MAKE. A. WIZARDING. WORLD. MMO.

TLDR; This game needs a sequel or DLC, but not an MMO Sequel or Multiplayer aspects (other than maybe adding Quidditch, so people stop asking for it), and it does not necessarily need to continue this story. This would allow us to explore different time periods and countries/regions of the world, similar to how the Assassin's Creed games work, but not on as a grand a scale.

Seems like it's going to be awesome, but it needs a performance patch.

The game runs at half the FPS Spiderman did on the same hardware (3070 Strix + 10700K w/ 16GB of RAM)

Remove the Battle Royale mode from the weekly challenges for the Gigachads that hate Battel Royales like myself.

I have no interest in playing a game mode like a Battle Royale, especially when it detracts from me being able to do other challenges for the Weekly Ultimate Rewards.

I was excited for Season 2, but now have zero interest in playing because I am going to miss out on a ton of cool rewards because we're forced to play a cheeks game mode.

Remove it and people will be happy.

11/25/2023 Update: Game is moving in the right direction now and it's really fun!

Apex Legends Arenas is the only good FPS that has come out since Titanfall 2 (besides Destiny 2 PVP)

Thank you Respawn for bringing us back.

I have been waiting for this for 4.5 years :')

The end-game of Warframe is really only fun if you're playing with your friends.

There is fun to be had by yourself, but it's a lot better when you're playing with friends.

That being said, doing all the quests and missions to get Warframes and weapons is really fun, even if you're playing solo.

I played Doom for about two hours after I bought it and thought it was the worst game ever and that the story was boring.

Over Spring Break 2018, I decided to give it another go.

Doom is the best game I have ever played in my entire life. The story and fast-pacedness of the game make it so much fun to play. Glory Kills are so damn cool! Keep in mind that you can aim at different parts of monsters' body's and perform different Glory Kills based on that. You'll need to know this late into the game, if you want to do the challenges. Best story and gameplay ever. Not having to reload also makes this game extremely fast paced too, nothing takes away from the action, ever.

Every achievement (for singleplayer), challenge, and weapon upgrade can be obtained without having to go out of your way and are extremely fun to get. I have never played a game where doing everything was not tedious or time consuming. I have 100% completion after only about 15 to 20 hours (I played the multiplayer for a bit after the 6.66 update), so it's really not that hard to do everything and, as I said, it's a ton of fun doing everything.

Please buy this game. Bethesda and ID need to know we want a Doom 2!

I have always wanted to get into the Resident Evil series, but one thing was holding me back from playing every (main) game in the series, except the 6th one (yes, I know everyone hates this game), the combat mechanics/gameplay. My favorite part about the game ended up being the challenging gameplay too!

I bought this game on Tuesday in Humble Bundle's Capcom sale and got 0 and 6 along with it, as well as some ♥♥♥♥♥♥ Dead Rising game that I will never play, for $6.87. This is by far the best $6.87 i've ever spent. This ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game was amazing! I could not stop playing it until the end. Now i'm sad because Capcom has yet to come out with a remake of the second and third games and I want to play these before I play 0, simply because of the intro of 0 telling me that this game (obviously) takes place "way before the events of Racoon City and the mansion, etc.", so I don't want to miss out on any references by playing the game before these remakes happen. No matter how long they will take to come out.

My only complaint about the game, and this is most likely due to the limitations of voice acting/character designs in the 1990's, is that some of the most intense parts of the game are completely trivialized by a weak or understated voice line or action from the main characters. This did not retract from my overall experience of the game though, because, as I said, I loved this game! As a person who thought they were going to hate this series simply because of the combat, I can safely say that this will probably turn into one of my favorite game series of all times.

Side note: I am familiar with the survival horror genre and have played many games that were inspired by Resident Evil or inspired Resident Evil such as Doom, the Dead Space series, Metro (two times to be exact originals and remakes on PC/ Xbox One (hoping to make it three with the remakes on PC!)), F.E.A.R., etc., so I am very excited that I am able to dive into a genre that I have been waiting years to jump into, while the only thing holding me back from doing so was myself.

I thought I was going to despise this game.

Rating: 9.5 out of 10. Got to use a trash compactor!

New Review:
The game only ended up crashing two more times and I think it was due to prolonged play, because whenever I play Bioshock I can play it for hours on end. I'm so glad that I was able to replay the first game in an amazing series and i'm looking forward to starting Bioshock 2 Remastered right after I finish posting this review!.

My only complaint about this remake is that fact that I lost my saves while I was saving the game and that definitely needs to be fixed for others who are going to start the game. Also, a minor complaint, is that I wish the "Museum" was larger because it was awesome to see some of the early character models, but I wish they included more, even stuff that made it into the game too.

Thanks for the remaster 2K!

EDIT:

Watch the commentary reels after beating the game because they are awesome! Also, the game referenced, System Shock, is being remastered/reimagined/rebooted by a new company and the demo is up on Humble Bundle, GOG Games, and Steam, so go check it out!

Original Review:
Just lost two and a half hours of a save game due to a crash in the game! Thanks 2K, you dumb ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. Do not buy this till they fix all of the glitches.
