I'm writing this right after finishing the game for the first time. Has you can see it took me 105 hours and i feel like i need to say that most of this time was not due to the game being hard or having to retry bosses time and time again, no. It took me this long because of how much this world offers. Everywhere you look there is stuff to explore, and most likely, if you can see it, you can reach it. Be it small castles, catacombs or ruins, every bit of map is sprinkled with them, this world is massive but never did it feel empty. Sure there are some reused assets, such as enemies and layouts of dungeons, but all of that is purely optional. Not even all of the "main" bosses (which are all amazing and have a unique fight) have to be killed for you to finish the game. It is filled with alternative routes or ways you can do this or that. Having too much trouble with this enemy? Just run around him and come back later... stronger... and show'em who's the boss now. Don't be fooled, it is still a fromsoftware souls like, it is bound to be hard, but with the amount of tools at your disposal, I feel like it is probably the most approachable game of the sort. If you've ever wanted to try a souls game, I would recommend this one. Oh, and don't worry about the linearity of the game, you can go wherever you want and the enemies will be sure to show you if they are out of your league. Truly a masterpiece.

The game is a fun one to play with perhaps a full lobby of friends. Otherwise I would not recommend you to purchase it. It is addicting and fun at first, when you play it for the horror aspect of it, but soon enough the horror goes away and all you are left with is anxiety of when will the killer show up, and after you get used to it, you have to get used to the anxiety of "will it be a balanced and fun killer to play against or a a guy playing something meta with 4 unfair perks?" either that or "should i wait for Jonny to log in? or do I trust the 3 random players who have multiple hundreds of hours in this game and still have no idea how it works?". And also, you may want to get used to the usual "wtf, i pressed it, why didn't it go off?!" or "i finished that, why does it show as unfinished?!" yeah... the servers really suck on this one.

If there ever was a game to go in and enjoy completely blind it's this one. I'm talking no reviews, no gameplay, no nothing. The only thing I didn't like about this game is the fact that it ends, but even then, once you complete it, I wouldn't say it is actually over, you'll be left with so much food for thought despite all the questions you previously had, have already been answered. If space / exploration / freedom of gameplay or physics interests you, then I highly recommend you try this one out.
