Best game I've played in 10 years.

This game is the most visually impressive game I have ever played. The environments, level design, core structure of this game are so solid. It reminds me in a lot of ways of Mass Effect, Fallout 4, and Watch Dogs Legion. I had to stop to appreciate my surroundings several times while playing. CD Projekt Red truly took environmental design to a new level here.

The story is great and action packed with likable characters. When you think about it, Night City is a real main character of the game. Completing all side quests is definitely the way this game is meant to be played. There are so many good nuggets of lore found on shards across the city. As I progressed, I felt stronger and stronger. By the final mission, I felt like the strongest netrunner in Night City. I LOVED the feeling of destroying groups of enemies in seconds without them ever knowing I was there after grinding out everything I could. The endings each feel satisfying in their own way and the leave plenty of potential for DLC in the future.

When playing, I experienced my fair share of bugs like everyone else. I got around this by saving before, during, and after each mission, gig, or side quest. By the end of my play through I had about 10 save files. Without doing that I very likely would've had to replay parts of the game due to bugs preventing progress. Still, even with bugs, this game was a great adventure.

Also, my main reason for reviewing this game. I don't think it's deserving of all the negative reviews it's gotten. Look at the past CD Projekt Red launches like The Witcher 3. This game isn't going to be left in its current buggy state. In a year or so, when bugs are fixed, missing features are implemented, and the AI is tuned up, I'm confident that this game will be known as one of the best games that we have ever seen.

In conclusion, I absolutely loved this game for what it is and will replay it again. Night City is the most incredible game world I think I've seen. RTX adds a new level of visual depth to gaming and this is the best showcase of that technology yet.

This game is absolute garbage. Feels unfinished and lacks smooth gameplay.
