One of the more unique rhythm games out there, I remember playing it way back in the day as a flash game and only just noticed it was on steam. I'd recommend it to anyone who's into rhythm games. I'd definitely note though that it is pretty challenging once you start trying the night levels, but don't let that dissuade you from trying the game out. It's absolutely worth the money

This is quite possibly my favorite game of all time. It's incredibly difficult when you're first beginning, and even when you know everything about the game, on the higher difficulty it is STILL incredibly difficult.

The main goal of the game, (assuming you do not make your own) is to build a space ship and escape the planet you are on. While it's a simple goal, it is a very lengthy process to reach it, and in the meantime you have to constantly worry about starvation, disease, and each of your colonists' individual moods. Add this to the regular raids from enemy colonies, which scale to the level of accumulated wealth your colony has acquired, and you're in for a hell of a ride.

If you get bored of the base game, there are countless mods which add twists and turns, whether they make it easier or more difficult, and can drastically change how your campaign goes, and in my opinion, modding is just the icing on the cake for Rimworld. I haven't played a campaign without at least one mod in quite a while.

All in all, if you're still having second thoughts, I'd say at least get it when it's on sale. It's absolutely worth every penny.
