Personally I love it. I can understand why some wouldn't enjoy it though at the same time.

There is a level of grinding that you can't get around and the game isn't really that tough.
I have had some tedious moments in the game but overall I like the chilled out pace of it.

It's quite quirky with the running of the shop and upgrading it but I want to upgrade quicker than I allow myself :P

For the price I think it was worth it for me, if it was too much more I would be thinking it lacks a level of complexity and diversity.

It took a while for the game to click for me but wow when it did I love it.
It has great atmosphere, audio and visually. The game feels so balanced in every area. The environment isn't too dangerous to be annoying but put an enemy player in the mix and the environment can become deadly. Getting the right mix of traits and weapons is great, my go to traits have changed overtime all with mostly success. The recent update really shows they care about the game. The level of detail in all the effects are great. You get the odd hacker but feels not very often thankfully.

Well I completed it in less than 3.5 hours, to me is short. Saying that I bought it on discount and would say it is well worth it. I only had one issue with it and it is really insignificant at the end of the day, when looking over the amazing views I could't help but notice a lot of trees were the same model, it just stuck out to me. Ohh I guess I had a second, you get too much help in the game really.

The level design is great, visually great and an amazing atmosphere to it also. Story side of it is very good, I needed to get some things done round my house but I was too glued to do anything.

It's hard to review a game in Alpha stages.

Before the latest update I would have said wait till they sorted some of the bugs out before buying it. This purely on the basis that you couldn't use you're inventry items after a save and reload of the game, which meant having to start over a lot. The only way to get the full experience was to never close the game down just to save your items . They fixed that in the latest patch and even though it is still in Alpha those fixes have made the game feel a whole lot more complete.

Since the patch I would say so far I would be happy with it as a finished game. I do not have many dislikes about the game. I like a lot about it though.

The graphics are really nice.
The audio is just as nice :D
The way the AI respond to discovering you is varied, it's not always an all out attack against you.
The amount of items you can build is quite good for an Alpha.
The way the cold and rain effects you adds to the feel of being vunerable.
Not all of the map is unlocked yet(saying that I have not checked since the update) but there is still plenty of space to explore, I look forward to the rest.

If they do add a 2 player co-op that would be really good, would add to the atmosphere, I do not think it would work with anymore than 2 players.

List of positives goes on to be honest, more than I can be bothered to write :D

I have unlocked loads of high level characters without spending money. You don't need to spend money. Me and my son love it. Be nice to have more SP missions as I completed them awhile ago with all rewards for every mission. Enough events to keep me happy I guess.
