This game is the same as the first with the change of bandages now actually being needed to stop bleadings, this is more of the same but without a good plot, it links back to back with the first game which is cool, but it finishes with a anti-climatic AF ending, if you liked the fist one this will feel good, but this is more like a DLC of the fist game.

The history is overly complicated, but it kinda makes sense once you actually understand it. This is a very forgiving world for the player. People say it's "Fallout but for men," but honestly, you're better off in this world than in that one. Once you get a good gun and some nice loot, you're unstoppable. I almost never felt underpowered or in a bad situation regarding health or ammo, for example. The greatest strength of this game is its atmosphere—it truly feels like a world that doesn’t care if you live or die, where most people are scraping by through sheer hatred and the hope of getting rich just like the real world.

Essa porra também costuma crashar quando salva e da load, as vezes so crasha e fodasse. Tirando toda essa doença o jogo é bom.

This game is part of the tower defense genre, and it is the best one I have ever played. Admittedly, I have not played many others, and I think I never will, as Kingdom Rush has definitely spoiled the competition for me. It makes a somewhat passive game become interesting with amazing graphics, awesome animations, and good voice work with classic catchphrases. Later on, the levels require you to actively control your reinforcements and the hero, making it very engaging.

The most important factor for me is the challenge. On higher difficulties, you will need to fight hard to earn your victory. Even when you pass a hard part of a level, the game will throw one or more twists at you, making you reconsider your life choices. Sometimes it feels impossible, especially on Veteran mode, which unfortunately for my monkey brain is the only mode I play. This is the only thing I can criticize about the game: the levels sometimes make you invest 10 to 20 minutes, and if you lose, you have to start over. This is cool in the long run but can make you wish to murder something every so often.

The challenges on Heroic and Iron modes push you to the limit, sending hard hordes of enemies and taking away towers (you just can't build then) from previously beaten levels. This will particularly fry your brain, making you again reconsider your often overused and relied-upon strategies. But this just proves to me how good the game design is, as you can beat the same level in so many ways. To give you an example, I struggled on occasion, halting my progress. I could see I was almost coming through but not quite there yet, so I proceeded to watch videos on YouTube to see the tactics. There were people beating the level in so many different ways, and then with renewed hopes I proceeded to beat the level my way anyway, which was different from any of the tutorials. This just shows the quality and possibility of the gameplay.

One important aspect of the game is that after you finish the main story mode, new levels open up, adding the same, if not more, content-rich levels you come to expect, each with a brief subplot, new enemies, and some new bosses.

The game is filled with geek culture references in achievements, easter eggs, phrases, and even achievement names. Lastly, there's a rich bestiary with characteristics of every creature and its powers/weaknesses, as well as for your towers. There is also a story, often overlooked as it is just text, that acts as a brief introduction to the place, location, or creatures that you will face, which is pretty cool overall.

In conclusion, Kingdom Rush stands out as an exceptional tower defense game and a subtly engaging story, it offers a thoroughly enjoyable memorable and good humored gaming experience.
