It's rare that i post reviews on things but i can't be silent about the upcoming Easy Anti Cheat (EAC) being added to the game.

You don't need to look far online to see the negatives of adding such a terrible thing to a social platform. This isn't CSGO or valorant this is a social game.

People also rely on some of the community mods for good things, particularly for those with disability or hearing impairments.

Mods and clients aside - Anticheat is the issue here, i don't want a rootkit on my PC. Already Linux users are raising concerns over crashes in the beta. A beta that was brought to the community with the clause of it being live in 24hrs. They are brute forcing this through and it's likely to please investors.
The people that will be hurt are the users playing now without protection from crashers and rippers whom have already bypassed the beta EAC that now have access to ripping models again and crashers will continue to use avatars over clients that this is supposed to target.

In the end the community suffers with EAC which does not solve the security issues in this game. It is a lazy attempt to look good for investors. Now we will have lower frames and performance, potential security issues with EAC, less accessibility for those who rely on the tools provided by the community. For all what appears to be some kind of stance the company want to make to investors.

I’m sure my money isn’t as big as an investor you’re trying to please but I will be cancelling my VRC+, as much as I would have loved to write a review about all the wonderful things this game can do – the community have been put in this positions by devs brute forcing an update they already voiced they knew would have a bad response from the community.

After waiting for it's launch on steam i can't say im disappointed at all. This game delivers everything i want in a roguelike. There are just so many fun builds you can make. It has a very unique artstyle and a great story. This game really sucks you in and i'm glad that i got to be part of this games journey to release.
