Absolutely the best modern turn-based RPG that I've played.

My only complaint is the dialogue, but even that is passable.

Icarus has a challenging early game, but is a thoroughly enjoyable survival construction game. The developers are active, and seem to take feedback seriously. 10/10

This game is broken. There's no two ways about it.
The entire design of the "specialist" system is flawed, and removes a fundamental element that forced cooperation in Battlefield games. Not to mention the cringe-inducing voice lines.

I would have gotten a refund before the two hour mark, but by the time I'd managed to fight through multiple bugs with the game open in the background, I had exceeded 2hrs "played". I use quotation marks, because I had actually only played two rounds by that point.

EA, Dice, you have screwed your player base. You released a product that was clearly unfinished, and was ill-considered to begin with. You dumbed down, and ruined one of the best video game series in history. No, that isn't hyperbole. You charged $100 for early access to a game that was worse than the beta version.

Do. Not. Buy. This. Game.
