One of the best rogue-like I've personally played.

With a plethora of ways to approach combat, the game is entertaining nearly every run. Their approach to difficulty progression keeps the fights interesting by adding nuanced abilities and even changing the way bosses fight. All while telling compelling stories that keep you interested in the characters and wanting to continue to find out what happens next.

Voice acting is phenomenal, narrator's dry humor is great, music is top shelf.

37 hours in and I feel like I could probably hit 60-80 before exhausting the replay value.

broke my thumb and couldn't play anything but this. helped for a few days.

After seeing how much time my friends spent playing this game I thought I'd check it out. Since purchasing I found that I've been spending an increased amount of time playing it, and let me tell you, it's been time well spent. I'm enjoying every aspect of the game from dogfighting to 500ly trips shipping cargo across a very small portion of an extremely expansive galaxy, and I don't even have the DLC yet. After almost 120 hours played I have a Clipper and I'm currently working towards an Anaconda. I can give this game a solid 9/10. The reason I leave out the other tenth is mainly because to my knowledge the game used to come with the Horizon DLC in a package for $30, and now it obviously doesn't. Lastly I love how the game looks as a whole, the shading, stations and ships, planets, solar masses, everything looks great. I'd highly recommend this to someone on the fence about it.
